Poor quality

I had ordered a Kicker pk8 amplifier wiring kit and these were part of a package that only Sonic had offered. To put it shortly, one of the jacks was grounding out when I plugged it all the way in the RCA jacks in the headunit. It was causing a lot of doubts in the equipment in my system, but I got down to the root and these were the culprit. I contacted Sonic and they gladly replaced the with a set of StreetWire RCA's that worked just fine when I installed them. Thanks Sonic! But as far as these go, I wouldn't recommend them. Spend a little more and get some better ones.

Nice and durable

Yeah, this sub WOMPS. Like the reviewer below me stated, these are worth every penny. I had a decision I had to make: two 12's or one 15, and I am glad I went with the MOFO, because it pounds bass like a mofo.
Built a 4 cubic foot box as the specs called for, and it pounds looooowww, thunderous bass. My ears were thanking me for my decision.

Can't handle big power

I would not recommend running this woofer over 1000 watts. Definitely could not handle the 1500 - 3000 watts I gave it. Overall the woofer lasted 2 weeks at a moderate level of bass and I smelled it the whole time. Didn't sound bad when it was playing but there is better woofers for just a few dollars more. I would only recommend this product if you are a non bass freak and you like low level music volume.

I got one of des hooked up 2 a 4000 class d boss in my 03 impala and it beat super dumb

Straight up contender to the RE SEX 15. I have 6 MOFO's and dang these things hit really hard for a budget build these are perfect subs. They slam.

Awesome well built sub for the money I'm feeding this monster a constant 1000rms from a Rockford fosgate power amp and this thing takes every low note I throw at it. This sub is officially a street banger!!!! And trust me I owned alot of subs high price and low from Kickers, Pioneers,Orions, Sundowns, and Memphis so I know about music and SQ.

I have two of these in my extra cab on a gothic 6000 amp by Power Acoustik it is great cant beat these subs I went to a FCBC stereo competition and hit a 145dbs first time ever going to one you cane beat power acoustik

Awesomely loud!

I have this sub in a ground shaker SQPXL115 box hooked to a Rockford Fosgate R1000-1D amp @2ohms. It hits hard enough to restrict your breathing! This is in a 2007 crown vic with all the windows down. With the windows up it is actually painful to listen to and it will blur your vision. For those who don't know, the trunk in a crown vic is sealed off from the interior, so i can only imagine how hard it would hit in a car with the seats folded down!

To be honest, i would just go ahead and get yourself an alpine type R 15. Much cleaner sound, most likely will take the same amount of rms or even more than this. Just my opinion.

great price for the quality

I have owned three of thees for about 6 months or so with a solid 1500rms on each in a sealed box they sound great work very well and hold the power.

Best Subwoofer ever at a great price

The sund quality and the quick response of these subwoofers are dynamite and for the price you can't beat it. I had these subwoofers for only a month and I'm already deaf lol but no seriously I love them

WOAH

So I ordered this thing 2 weeks ago, just got the box (A Groundshaker SQL15 from Sonic of course), and the amplifier (A Power Acoustik 4000 watt BAMF).
Upon receiving the sub I was very impressed, Power Acoustik has done big things with this, I even had to shave down the Groundshaker box's opening a bit so the INSANE spider basket would fit!
Onto how it operates....
I have the amp at half the gain for the break in period. It hurts to sit in my car. On higher volumes it will take the breathe out of you. The lows sound so clean it makes my pants wet with joy.

I am honestly scared to see what this thing can do once I crank the amp up. even more terrified once I get a second one and wire it down to 1 ohm.

ALSO forgot to mention, on the side I'm also running two 12" Kicker Comps, nothing special but they definitely compliment the MOFO's mid-range quite nicely.

Install was easy, used a Belva 0 gauge kit; true 0 gauge wire for all of you wondering which wiring kit to get for the cheapest.

Sonic also delivered these things in an extremely timely manner; and for that big ups!

They Smash The Lows

These subs are amazing for the money! I have two of these in my Chevy Tahoe powered by a 2400watt rms Hifonics Brutus (Hifonics BRX2400.1D (Brutus BRX-2400.1D)) and they bump really hard. 0 gauge wiring is great for the amp and allows it to really give clean power to the subs and lets them do their job. These subs are very conservative with power so don't be afraid to run them at a high rms. Although they don't hit highs super well (15's aren't ment for that) they destroy the lows and make everything shake! I recommend this sub to anyone who wants some really powerful low hitting bass for a cheap price!

Awsome sound for the $$$

This is an excellent quality subwoofer with great sound performance. I personally have 4 in my Avalanche with 4 3000 watt monoblock amplifier s one amp for each sub. It's almost too much. I have installed car stereo systems for 18yrs from Florida to Iowa and these have my highest recommendations to anyone.

Great buy

I bought 2 of them and my god they pound, I'm running a gorilla 5500w amp and they are running at 2700rms perfectly, if you buy these subs make damn sure the box you are putting them in can handle them. You should consider fibreglassing the INSIDE of the box. They will pound hard and the quality of sound is flawless almost lol

Hands down the best-priced wiring kit I've seen, and this isn't some budget thing you'd settle for because it's a good bang for your buck. This is oxygen free, 1/0 full AWG quality copper wiring. Right now it's running for only $70, and I've seen 4ga kits run for far more than that. I even got this for only $49 and have zero regrets. A few of my coworkers saw it hooked under my hood and were shocked at how huge it was.

And if anybody's wondering, the included fuse is 300a.

I am 100 percent satisfied with this kit it is off easy to install very flexible Tru OFC 0 guage wire....The price was just right for this item there are some higher price kits.. but I suggest this one for the money......it's worth it...
