I am a bass freak when it comes music. And I used a battery capacitor for my 2 12"ice kicker compr with a 2000w amp and a 500w amp plus a epicenter and ect and my lights was deming. I seen this product and the watts for this battery was alot and my lights no longer dim and it beats hard without losing power at all!!!!! Recommend product for a great system.

This is by far the largest and heaviest and most expensive piece of equipment I may ever own, at least value-wise, cause at 190.75 (after tax) I practically robbed sonic.

This is a first impressions review as I lack the resources to install and subsequently use this amp, I will post another once installed and slamming. I've always thought of powerbass as a lower end audio company... After seeing this beauty, I clearly misjudged, however I do feel like I cheated on NVX, being a huge fan of NVX, after I repair the damage done to my credit card (minimum wage FTW) I'll probably pop in the VCW subs and listen to this baby slam and thank Sonic and God for this incredible deal on such a marvelous pieces of creation. I don't do any flashy lights or sporty looking amps, I like the ones that look sleek and professional and exactly like this.

Awesome amp!!!!

Dude I honestly didn't think this amp would be as good as it is but it powers 2 of my subwoofers down to 2 ohms without a sweat! Before this I was running a 300 dollar amp that burnt up so I figured why not try something different so ordered this up, popped it in and my subs are louder than I've ever heard them before. My buddy is going to get one too with a similiar setup and we cant wait to put his in with a bandpass box to see how it sounds. On mine I have the battery upgraded a little and thats it but i dont see any lights dimming or electrical issues even though its rated for 1200 watts. If you dont want to spend too much on an amp but need it to dump power this is the best one ive used to date. A++++++

The product is fantastic. The power wires and fuses made a ln amazing difference to my sound system the battery could have been a little stronger but that was my fault. The only thing I had trouble with was on the battery itself its terminals were too small to use the o ring crimps provided on the power and ground cords. They would stop right through the terminal or not have a good connection so I modifyed it.

Awesome setup

Put this in my bayliner 175 as a backup battery and for my stereo system, do to limited room I could not put in a full size battery, this works great and has everything you need to install it except a switch or isolator.

Amazing Battery!

This battery will definitely do the job in keeping the amp fed while stopping my lights from dimming. In fact my Sundown Audio subs sound louder and clearer. It's almost too much to handle! Everything comes int he kit you need to wire it into the car itself. If your having power issues, definitely get this battery instead of a cap! Cap will just be a waste of money compared to what this battery will do for your system.

Not too big Not too small Just right

Okay so after doing all kinds of research on my capacitor I found the consensus to be that batteries for car audio are far better equipped to keep my alternator and battery stress levels in check. So I built my box and mounted my amps then came the battery. Well for where I wanted to put the battery the wiring was about 5 feet short. So I had to get the battery closer to the amps. So the plan became put the battery in between the amps mounted on the back of the box.

Okay so important fact about the product here. The bracket that came with this kit was a life saver. I was able to mount the battery sideways to squeeze it in between the amps. Perfect fit.

The bracket looks great and is a perfect fit for the battery. It has the company logo on it and it looks and feels nice.

The wiring kit was also great. The ground and power wires were more than enough length again unless I wanted to mount the battery way back from the amps. If you are mounting the battery 4 or 5 feet from the amp you may want to get a section of wiring to run back to the amps. And of course you will need another ground for the battery which you may be able to get from the existing ground wire.

The quality of the wires all around was very good. The thin copper wires are tightly bound and there are a lot of them. Be careful when you cut the wire because tiny strands go everywhere and aren't fun vacuuming out of the carpet.

Fuse holders were very nice and look great. No complaints or concerns there. They are big but that's no big deal for me. If you have space constraints under the hood you may want to check out the dimensions.

The battery seems nice but how do you really know. I can tell you that I don't have dimming lights at high volume. The terminals on top are very small. So much so I was initially worried about the problem. But after mounting all the wires and seeing how well they made contact it was good enough for me. If you want to see every piece of metal on the end of the wire touching the battery terminal you will want to look at the terminal extension / adapters. I personally think they make plenty of contact but you may not feel the same. For the power restrictions this unit has I don't see how it could matter much.

So overall this is a great kit. The price was more than I wanted to spend but I think the value is good.

This came with a package deal. I have the Hifonics Brutus 2000 watts (she's a beast for her wattage) and she will pull power but this battery I have not missed a beat. No blinking, no missing lows, no uneven songs when played at Max volume and amp all the way up. Glad I got it.. better then a cap...

Awesome bundle!

This is a very economical way to add a second battery for a 1000 watt sub amp. Please note that the 4 gauge is not OFC but CCA so it's not a good option for 1500 real watts or more. For the price and quality it can't be beat.

Noticeable difference in entire car lighting, and response. Very easy to install. Im not gonna lie I dont like the fuse holders. I recommend NVX 150amp fuse holders.

This little battery dude the job for my system. I have a ampere 2000.1 and two sundown 15's. This set up slaps pretty hard and with a big 3 upgrade my voltage is 14v all day in my Tahoe with a stock alternator. Now a days little doesn't mean anything.

I would recommend this to anyone needing an extra battery kit the mounting bracket fit perfect in the place where my stock cd changer should have been , I'm not so much of a fan of the cca wire but that's just me i think the other parts more than make up for that . i have been running this for a year or so with no real problems

btw i have agm under the hood powering a fosgate p1000 bd and t 400 on mids and highs just under 2000 rms
