Good little amp

Good little amp, I bought one from a local retailer and this things just bumps. It's hooked up to a 12" Kicker CVR at 4 ohms. Slows pretty well I'd say. Might have to get another one to see what it can really do. If your looking for a solid little amp, this would be it.

wow

To be honest, this amp is amazing. clean signal, very very very well built, etc. my only gripe is that the power input block WILL NOT accept true 4 Gauge wire. 6 or 8 seems to be as big as it can handle.

On another note, I purchased two subwoofers from a friend today. He had them each wired in parallel, and I only hooked one subwoofer up. Much to my amazement, the amp did power the one 12" Audiobahn. however, I noticed that the sub is a dual 4 ohm model, since the voicecoils were connected in parallel, this amp was successfully pushing a 2 ohm load... AND HARD!!!

I do not condone connecting the amp this way, however its nice to know it can despite Powerbass saying it can't.

This amplifier is amazing, sounds awesome, and pushes one Audiobahn AW1251T with ease... lets see how it can push two of them

I'm now a PowerBass fan

I bought this amp as a replacement for a Kicker amp that died on me. This amp puts out more power relative to its size and looks much better imo. I will def try other powerbass products now.

.

The following review is for a previous version (ASA-400.2).

I am running this amp bridged at 400 watts (rms) and it sounds great and does not get super hot like some other amps. It is pretty compact and it looks nice aswell. My only complaint would be that it wouldnt fit the kicker power and ground wires untill i trimmed about half off. (understandable though, the wiring is really wide/thick)

overall, great amp, and i would reccomend it to anyone looking for a compact, nice looking, amp to run thier sub(s).

Best 800w amp I've ever heard

The following review is for a previous version (ASA-400.2).

This amp is great and has taken my abuse for more than 3 years.
Everyday use and still clear under full power use. I had it running two 10" kickers until it blew them, and now im running two 12" pioneer subs.
Not the most powerful, but perfect for a stock alternator.
