GREAT ITEM, GREAT COST!!!

Great sound. Highs nice and clear. Bass nice and clean- but not that hard hitting and not that powerful in the deep end when powered but the factory head unit in a 2001 Grand AM that already has the high and low x-over. The magnet and rubber magnet cover are kind of big and was a tight fit to install in my grand am but works great. Overall nice clean clear sound from all highs to the mid in the lows but when you get to the really deep bass you might want to amplify the speakers or get a separate dedicated sub-woofer or 2 in order to reproduce the chest vibrating lows!

They sound awesome...

Bought these to replace a pair of MB quart I blew thinking they weren't going to sound as good as the MB's but man was I surprised. I have these with a old school Soundstream reference 4 channel hooked up to them and they sound awesome. The best sound I could get was with the High pass filter around 65 - 80hz. I don't have subs in my car but these provide plenty of thump...I would recommend these to anyone..

powerful

These speakers are on 200 watts each and screaming. I have them on high pass since i have subs only thing was its huge on the back side. Definitely need a lot of room to mount it but it's a beast.

Not Bad

I just got these speakers and they sound real clean in the highs but for the size of the magnet the lows could be better. If the bass is all the way up they will make some bass but nothing compared to my other infinity kappa 639.9I. But for the price it is a good buy. Plus i dont need bass because of my two pioneer premier TS-W3002D2 subs!
