Worth every penny

I bought these as a part time replacement till I decided which way I wanted to go with my audio system. All I can say is damn these speakers shocked me. I couldn't believe how great they sounded. I didn't really have high hopes for them, but I didn't care as they were just for part time duty. if you are looking for some great dash speakers these are them. you will be surprised at the sound these little speakers can muster up.

Great Little Speakers

Needed replacement speakers for the front dash units in my 94 Olds Cutlass Ciera. These have worked great, and were very reasonable! Highly recommend

Worth every penny!

I bought these speakers to replace a pair of $50 pioneer tweeters in the dash to try and get a more complete, fuller sound up front. I had a bit of skepticism but let me tell you, these speakers did everything i expected and so much more!!! Now, instead of just hearing the cymbals and vocals, i can actually hear a lot more guitar and quite a bit of bass for just 3.5's. These have excellent tweeters on them also, very smooth crisp sound!!! Highly recommended!

Put my Soundstreams to shame!

I was looking for silk dome 3.5" speakers to fit in my dash and complement my Soundstream Tarantulas in my doors. The highs are fantastic and they more than keep up with my Tarantulas - I'm driving these with the factory Boston amp and they handle 30W RMS perfectly, no distortion at high volume. If you have 3.5" dash openings and need a drop-in upgrade, here is your speaker.

small speaker, big sound

Ordered a pair of these for in my dash. Best $20 ever spent! I have them running off the head unit with maybe 17rms and they sound great, nice clear highs that added to the overall sound quality. they cant keep up with the bass on my other door speakers, but these are little as hell so dont expect that anyway.

cheep speakers

They sound good but if you put an amp to them put a cap. In line with them or you will blow them like I did

Nice speakers

These are great with a nice natural, high quality sound and handle more RMS power than most this size in this price range can. They look great and aren't too deep like some aftermarket dash speakers. They sound better than the ones I replaced which were deeper and had a heavier magnet. Don't forget bass blockers if you plan to run bass thru em. They hold their own pretty good but very high volume causes popping. All in all, a great buy.

Silk Dome / Paper Cone Just What I Needed

I upgraded my factory system to something with a bit more power. Car has dash speakers, but like all factory systems the crap paper sounds like mud. These open the soundstage. The silk is warm and the paper is more resonant than plastics. They sound great. Though, I will say the construction is a bit flimsy. The parts that make the sound are put together right. Definite cost cutting on the basket and wires. But I think with lower powered systems, these materials sound much better than the stuff considered higher quality. Higher quality usually = needs amps. I found with a no amp system, less is usually more. If you get speakers that need more power than the system puts out, you lose all the bass. It goes flat. These put out more bass than the stock speakers. Perfect for what I was doing. The silk domes really do sound amazing.
