GREAT PRODUCT! LOOKS NICE AND IS POWERFUL!!

This is a great amp that puts out a ton of power and looks cool doing it. I have this in my '02 Celica powering 2 15" Memphis Power Reference's. The ports light up blue, which, mixed with my trunk neon's and my cap lighting up looks pretty cool. I have no complaints at all with its output or usability.

I only have two complaints... the manual says the ports are 4 gauge, however I used PB 4 gauge wire and Kicker 4 gauge wire which were both too big so I had to trim down the wire. I would use 8 gauge instead of the 4 gauge that the manual says you should use.

My other complaint is that because it is 4-channeled, if your HU only has 1 pre-amp output, you can only bridge your amp through 2 channels not all 4 i.e. half the power you could be putting out.

If you want this, make sure your HU has two pre-amp outputs and your wires fit in the ports. This thing will power just about anything you throw at it!! Great amp for anyone, even if you are a serious bass junkie.

this amp ROCKS!

Okay i did a LOT of research on amps before i purchased. And when I purchased this amp was quite a bit cheaper. Looks like its probably getting the hype it deserves! This amp is awesome. I'm so impressed by it. its easy to adjust the settings, very VERY loud and so clear. the outside is very pretty. I also have a matching mono amp for my alpine 1243 sub. They work very well together!. My installer and his customers liked these amps a lot. They loved how they looked and the customers asked about the setup. And asked if they could get these in their cars. This amp is tiny and literally fits anywhere in my prelude. It even fits under my seats with room to spare and I cant even get my shoes under my seat and im size 10. the lighting on it is really cool but not really all that necessary unless youre going for show. butt this amp performs even better than expected. the only con is that its a bit pricey rightnow, but its definitely worth the money. my installer has a LOT of great reviews in long beach about his services and he commented that powerbass is very good on the wallet, especially for the quality. i say go for this amp. i have no regrets!

Good Value Minded Amp

Not putting out rated power based on my calculations and the response from my woofer. Amp sounded a little hollow to me on the Mid and High speakers. Seems to drive the door speakers hard in my truck, but doesn't sound as good as the MTX 4004 that it replaced at low to mid volume. Never thought I would hear a difference, but you just might. No way to carry over input from Channel 1 And 2 to feed signal to 3 and 4. Can't run four speakers on a single left and right input is major downfall in build flexibility.

Sick little amp!!

As with the other persons review I purchased this amp only because I saw how cheap it was and I am soooo glad I did!! I didn't even have a need for it at the time until I bought 2 sets of Rockford Fosgate Power T1 6.5 components and lord do they scream!! Tiny amp with a monster punch! I think that the amp is worth it even now how its priced, its comparable to many other big name brands out there but with 1/4 the size if not less!! 100% satisfied with no complaints. I would suggest this amp to anybody especially with space constraints, you can't go wrong.

Review -- PowerBass Xtreme XAX-4160FD

PowerBass amp is impressive; especially when price discounted. Lot's of steady power, plus power to spare for transients. Easy to hook up, and to setup. Only have had it for six months, but so far, so good.
