Great Sound
The PreSonus Eris E4.5 speakers are my first pair of active monitors and I couldn't be happier. Previously, I only had a basic Logitech desktop speakers, so I wanted something a bit better to match my pro headphones. For their price, the E4.5s are perfect. Very clear and accurate from low to high. My only complaint (which is to be expected with smaller drivers) is the lack of hard hitting bass. The drop off on these is a little higher than I'd like. I mostly listen to rock and metal though, so it's never really an issue.
In terms of build quality and features, very solid. No complaints. They have all the inputs, outputs, and adjustments you'd expect on active monitors.
Overall, I highly recommend these monitors.

Solid Studio Monitors
This is the first set of studio monitors I've gotten. From what I can tell, they are excellent. The settings on the back of the monitor for adjusting your listening space were really helpful. I don't think I've ever had a better listening experience, especially for the money.
