Good Sound

Overall i'm pleased with the sound quality and price
pros inexpensive good sound highs are crisp
cons mids lack a punch questionable rms rating wouldn't suggest putting more than 100 rms

Living up to the name.

I upgraded my car from the PPI Sedona series 6.5"s (wich are fantastic entry level speakers, btw) to these, and it is a huge difference.
These have fantastic punch and clarity.
I have a pair of these in each front door (custom carbon fiber doors) and they have the punch of an 8 or 10" sub.
They are crisp and clean. I highly recomend powering them with a quality external 4ch amp for best results.

Build quality wise these are fantastic. Tweeter housing and phase plug are machined metal (assuming aluminum) all plastic parts have a quality feel to them. Included hardware is plenty.

For a marginal increase in price, (~25%) the increase in performance and build is incredible. (verses the Sedona 6.5 components)

(Compare these against Pyle pro audio, Precision Power Pro 8", OxygenAudio Air4", Alpine 4", And these ArtCollection 6.5"s win.)

PPI A2.65c

PPI has made a great comeback and this set of comps reflects on that. For the price, they're worth every penny. The First thing that impressed me about this set is the quality of the x-over. Sure there's better out there but for under $100 its built well and quality parts were used. I used the 0db option and the tweets were plenty bright and crisp. These tweeters are crisp to the ear yet pleasing. The mid produces clear and defined sound as well. Really a solid set here. Only 2 things that keep it from getting 5 stars for quality: a velcroed magnet boot on the mid and sub par speaker wire provided. Other than that, its great.

Great budget component set

The PPI Art series components are very impressive, especially for the price. Will they sound like $500 components? Of course not, but I have owned Image Dynamics, Polk Audio, and Morel entry level components, and the PPI Art series components sound every bit as clean, and they can handle some serious power. I have owned a lot of component sets over the years, and there is not a sub $300 set that I would take over these PPI's at their sub $100 price point.

Had em about a year now

Good speakers, loud, pretty clear, but they do get a little distorted at higher sound levels. Good for the money.
