good value.

Performs best in a 1.5 cu ft sealed enclosure , at least in my setup. Tried in a few different boxes but sealed was the better of the results. I tried in a 1.7 cu ft and 2.3 ported enclosure but the sealed produced the most accurate sound.

Great

I built the box to specs provided by Sonic. The cut out is not 11.6" the holes are 11.5" on center, the cut out should be 11". Needed to rebuild box which costs as much as the sub woofer did but subs sound great in a 1.75 cu ft sealed enclosure, for the money they cannot be beat.

Great sub for the money

Bought this sub not expecting much but the price was right for a temporary sub. Have to admit that I am very surprised and pleased with the responsiveness and clean sound I am getting from this sub. I am running this sub on a 5000.5 Polk amp @ 500watts rms 1ohm in my work truck. Overall sound is great. Handles the rapid changes in bass from dub step easily and clean, seems to play all types of music nicely without sounding muddy. Considering that I have this thing in a very shallow (6.5in)1.65 cu ft ported box tuned somewhere around 38-42hz with a 3" round port I can see this sub performing much better in an optimum sized and tuned box. If you are trying to build a system on a tight budget with good sound quality I would recommend giving this sub a try. Also this is all within having it installed and slammed for two days, so it hasn't even reached it's break in potential.
