PPI Black Ice 340.2
Nice amp here, especially for the price! Has great SQ and nice x-over options. I've used it to power a set of components and also to power a sub. It worked and sounded great in both scenarios. The gain knob is a nice touch as well. Its also a very nice looking amp. Very cosmetically appealing. Good job PPI!

Great Amp
Not that I am a PPI fan boy, but I been away from car audio since about 2002. However, kids are grown up now and I am able to play car-audio again. I know there are so many amps, subs and car audio brands out there and the competition is very competitive. However, I grew up using the old skool :) PPI's and really enjoy their shear output of true RMS power in the little amps that "could" push those old Orion Reds & Blues I use to get pounding (SPL). However today, I am more on SQ and not SPL. I ended up getting this black ice KB340.2 to push one JL Audio 12W0v3-4 and I bridged it (at 4-ohms) in a single ported cabinet tuned to 29hz. All I can say is I am happy for this little PPI and how it performs. I have the power gain set to 50% and the JL 12" just does the job mighty fine. PPI seems to set the bar and I am still huge fan of them and they are very nice looking btw. I do own a kicker 4-channel pushing my front components and rear 6.5" Kenwood Execelon's and the kicker I cannot find a complaint either, but this review is on PPI. Thank you PPI and Sonic to put out a great item for a affordable price amp.
