Works good. No more dimming lights or dropping volt meter. Use with ppi 1000 watt amp and 2 jl audio 15w0's. Easy to install. Looks cool. Highly recommend this product.

Really nice fared capacitor for the price!

I had a 3 fared cap for about 6 years and it did the job volts barely moved. I got a new car that I want to take care of and thought I should go with a 5 or so. I also noticed I had ran my subs 4 ohm rather than 2 (still hammered). So changing it around made a new cap better idea. This guy was a great price from a great brand so I jumped. It looks great, has a remote lead to save battery, and was simple to install. When I hit the volume up high....wow! The bass is so much cleaner! Not even a worry of dimmed lights. This is a great buy. I recommend to anyone pushing 700 or more. Go big or go home right?

Good product at medium volume levels.

I had a pro install this unit for me along with the rest of the system. Well let me put it this way: It does help boost power to the amps and all but when I crank up the volume and the bass hits hard my lights dim to the beat. I really question what the true farad number is of this unit. It should still handle 1200 and 1600 watt amps without hitting my electrical system.
