Awesome subwoofer

This is a great subwoofer for wanting just a bit more of a kick to your car stereo for a 40 dollar sub it is great not a single complaint love the look of it as well I am running it with a rockford t500 at 4 ohms great match might get a second one to have a pair at 2 ohms.

Sound good for such small speakers

I got these to replace some burned out diamond 8" subs. They are actually being used in a boat but it's a dry area of the cabin. So I wasn't worried about moisture. They work great. Give some surprising deep lows and I was very impressed by them. No regrets at all. Being pushed by a 600x4 kenwood amp.

performance per dollar makes value

For less than $35 I put this sub in place of the factory 8, in the factory enclosure, in rear driver side , 2001 tahoe. with a small 200 watt rms mtx amp, and was a huge improvement! I wish I had bought sound deadening because on music with heavy bass, the rear panel slightly rattles. The sub performs well from high to low bass. I'm very happy with the results. If you have 3rd row seats, but want bass, buy this sub.

Pretty good for such a low price 8 inch.

These do alright but really good for the price. If space or price is an issue I do recommend. If space is not an issue I would buy something else. I may try a new enclosure to see if there is a better output but I'm not expecting it.

Great Sealed Subs in My Strange Setup

These add quality, deep sealed bass to the rest of my setup. I am running 4 of them at home in place of some passive woofers, inside old hi-fi enclosures, directly in series with some 8 inch woofers sharing the same space. As one might expect the bass volume is higher than with the passives, and this amount of sealed area gets just as deep. Despite sharing the full woofer signal, they naturally don't produce too much in the lower-mids or higher, so work well in this unusual application. Given this versatility, I have no doubt they would work very well as dedicated subs as well. I have also been running Precision Power subs since 1999 and have had zero problems. They are possibly the best for the money out there, and have a more refined aesthetic than most other brands at that price.

Good

I bought a pair of these to put in a truck for a family member. Sealed box, under the back seat and they perform to his expectations. Myself, I was a little surprised how good they sounded. For the price you can't beat it. Won't piss off your neighbors but they can definitely add some bass if you're on a budget with limited space.

Awesome little sub

I wanted a little extra low end in my truck. I built a vented box tuned at 49hrz. Paired this sub to a Pyle 1200w at 4ohms 240rms. I am totally surprised by this little 8. It's no 12 but does it job better than anticipated. The price is very hard to beat, and it looks killer. Thanks to Sonic Electonix for fast shipping.
