Excellent Tweeter for the money

I bought 2 sets of these tweeters as i needed a solid tweeter for my A-Pillars, and kick panels in my tahoe. I run an active setup in my truck and tuned these tweets @ a 12db slope x-over'd @ 1500hz. Very crisp and loud. Also a plus is the fact that these tweets look VERY NICE too. Since the a-pillars are right in the face its nice to see a "good looking" set of tweets and mid-bass drivers ;)

This tweeters are great as I thought. Sounds clear and loud. I have alpine type R tweeters in my another car. This ppi precision power tweeters10× loud then alpine.

One of the worst I've heard.

I've been testing various sub-$100 tweeters from Polk, JL, Cerwin, PPI, and Alpine. They are bench tested using an old school Pioneer amp and a reference microphone. The frequency sweep on these tweeters looks like the rocky mountains even with 1/12 smoothing. They sound very harsh and peaky which reflects what the response plot shows.
