Great Remote Starter
I installed this Remote start in a 2006 Nissan Frontier. I chose this unit because the Audiovox Prestige name has always indicated solid quality product. This remote start supports lots of features--a second starter output (no need for extra start relays), lots of auxiliary outputs for control of defrost, heated seats, etc, and a flashing red Push Button LED (flashes when locked) giving the impression there is an alarm in the vehicle, even though this remote start does not have alarm features. The installation of the unit went very smoothly, and I soldered all connections. The remote start works flawlessly. I have measured the range to about 1000 feet in a mall parking lot--that is the advertised (by Audiovox) max range of this unit--plenty for my needs. I installed this unit in April 2010, and it has worked reliably since the install. If you are looking for a reliable, solidly built remote start, I would strongly suggest this product.
