Not a Scytek but suprising bang for buck

A little unconventional in the wiring process, but once you get past that its pretty straight forward to program and surprisingly reliable, My vehicle endures significant abuse being part daily driver, part drifter, and part grocery getter. The car sees an unreal amount of mileage in a year and its all in and out, stop and go, This being the case I'm particularly hard on key fobs and I'm glad to say I'm still using the original fob i put on my key ring 6 months ago with no need for the backup or a fresh battery. Occasionally the unit will neglect to chirp when arming or disarming, but has no confusing modules to deal with and features plenty of auxiliary's to play with. If you need a stable stand alone unit for a decent price I would recommend you have a look at it.

Excellent Product!

The remote has a very long range. The alarm is very loud and is very sensitive to touch. My car is much safer with this product. I would recommend this product to everyone who is looking for good value for money!

Alarm

This alarm works great. It is made by Audiovox and it performs without any flaws. If you are looking for an alarm with remote start then this is the one for you. I installed this alarm in a 1998 Cevy Silverado 1500 and with the directed bypass modual it worked great.

Can't live without!

I live in the northeast so we are either in like tundra or desert conditions here. I have only had my remote starter for about 6 months but used it throughout the entire season! It is awesome! Looking forward to using for AC in summer! Sometimes the "catch" aka sensor doesnt pick up, but i think it is just a positioning thing.
