An IT guy's savior
The building I work in is pretty old and in a pretty bad state when it comes to wiring. They aren't ready to go wireless yet for budget reasons, so they have be diagnosing cable breaks all the time. This network cable taster has really helped me out in this most irritable of tasks. It works through a very simple system of beeps, and so far it works very well. It has helped me find three breaks now, and I'm sure it will help me find more. If only they'd switch to wireless.
