There alright, a good deal for the price

For the price they do the job pretty well. Frankly I only picked these because they were the only 6x8's that came with a grille! Since they were going on the back doors of a cargo van and the real speakers are in the front door, I was not too picky. The rear doors have no finish panel on them and I had to have a grille....so these were the choice.
Took all of 10 minutes to install, had all the needed wire and hardware and surprisingly they sound pretty decent. Overall I am pleased with these.

Everything is good

Bought these for my Ford Ranger ext. cab. Crisp clear sound with no cracking sounds when I have my system turned up. I have a Boss with a 3400 watt amp and an e.q. attached to a compositor and 15 inch speaker.

Great Product

Bought this for a single cab truck and wow what an amazing performer. For a basic 3-way off the head unit, it rocks as loud and clear.

I put these speakers on my front doors and they sound great. The quality is good, price is very good and they look very nice.

strong lil thangs

Looked around and came across these. Liked the specs and watts. Read the reviews here and on other sites that sold them also. A lot of positive reviews. When I got them, as with any speakers.. I hooked them up to my home stereo. I was happy that I had only one hooked up, unhooked all the other speakers to isolate just one pyle, and I could hear it from the back all the way through my house and outside the door. Couldnt wait to throw them in my expedition. Fit was exact. Did the swap myself on watching a how to vid on youtube. Awesome sound running from the stock mach system. Shout out to Sonic Electronix and youtube for saving me a lot of money and time. I recommend these speakers

Big improvement over stock for the price

For the price these are a pretty good value. These really made the higher frequencies come alive. I put 2 pairs in a 2001 F150 super cab. The originals are 1 way cheap paper cones. Nothing compared to these 3 way speakers. Not sure if these can actually handle the wattage claimed. I will find out when I add a second 4 channel amp to boost these to keep up with a pair of 10" Kenwoods under the rear bench. Pushing 300 watts rms each. 1 negative is the cheesy looking built in tweeter, but not an issue under stock speaker covers. Stealth.

the speakers where exactly as described,perfect fit,sound great.actually arrived a day early.would buy from again,and plan on doing just that..

Bought 4 of these and first off ill say there power rating isnt quite on, in fact not close. can not handle as much as they say, however they can still handle a good bit and sound very clean and loud. bass surprised me to and i only had it on hi pass. i would recommend these speakers, still a good by for the $. put them in one of my friends cars and he loves it.

Adequate

The Pyle PL683BL are an adequate speaker and a good value at the price. The only complaint is the wire provided with the speakers is too short, wire is cheap, and should be lengthened about 10 feet to provide enough length for proper routing.

I PURCHASED 2 PYLE 8IN FOR MY OLDER PICKUP WITH AN ALPINE RADIO WITH NO POWER AMP AND THEY ROCKED. SO WHY NOT BUY THE 6X8;S FOR MY 2001 MAZDA B3000. THE SOUND AND QUALITY OF THE SPEAKERS ARE UNSURPASSED

Do not buy these pyle they are very bad and a waste of my money and time. My walkman back in the day sound better. I am sending them back to get me some Kicker.

Great Product and Value

If you are looking for a direct replacement plug and play speaker to fit the Ford connector, this is not it.
However, if you can use a soldering iron to make an adapter, and want great sound, this is a great choice. These full range speakers are very clear with great highs and mids. The Bass is a little mild, but with an adjustment to the equalizer, they are stellar. Certainly well worth the money and time to install.

Just installed on a 2001 mustang and they sound great ... No much bass response .. But I have a subwoofer in the trunk all together great loud clear sound ....
