It's OK
First, let me say I have nothing besides a factory setup to compare this to, so maybe that's not fair.
I bought this for a 2004 F350 crew-cab long-bed to install with a cheap 7" Fahrenheit TI-769NB head unit that actually has a very nice display for the price.
The cam was easy to install if you have a little skill with a drill. You do have to drill a hole for the wires behind the plate, but that's to be expected. I like how the mounting bolt heads are recessed into the frame to deter theft. You do need access to the inside of the bumper to put the nuts on the 4 bolts. I wish the bolts were stainless steel. The frame appears to be sturdy and the black powder coating appears to be good. The video quality is good enough, but on my setup, it not great. It comes with a el-cheap-o video signal cable that was too short for my extra long vehicle, so I made my own using good quality shielded cable & RCA connectors. The picture is a bit grainy, but it's OK for what I wanted. Surprisingly, the night vision is much better than I expected & it;s all I need.
