Terrific Product.
This is better than expected.
(a) 7 Bands EQ is the least you can ask for in a good equalizer. With the PLE720P, you go une step further. You can fine tune each band within a given frequency range, which makes it a fantastic PARAMETRIC equalizer in 7 steps, against the 3 steps (high, mid, bass) parametric EQ you have in most head units. This ALONE makes it a great purchase.
(b) It's a solid product. Not a plactic gizmo.
I'd give it five stars if it featured a BYPASS function. As it is, if you want just the flat signal from your head unit, you must take all the 7 band controls to cero by hand. Not handy, but since this happens rarely, is a minor flaw.
I would definitely recommend this product.
