Impressed

Lost my high end component speakers to my dog during glassing and couldn't afford to replace them something equivalent. So I decided to buy a cheap pair instead, remount in the factory locations, and save the high end stuff for a new car. With that said, I was not expecting these to be half as good as they are.
Installation:
The woofer did not drop into my factor locations without modifications. I had to create MDF rings to create an appropriate fit. This wasn't necessary with my previous set. However, fit is dependent on the vehicle so take the 3 star for "Ease of Use" with a grain of salt; they may work well in yours.
Performance:
They play well in infinite baffle to 100hz and have good impact. The mid range is a bit copious around 1300hz. I believe this is due to frequency bleeding at the crossover point. The high end was also a bit sharp. This is most likely due to the driver separation and the tweeters being on axis while the woofers are not. However, these issues were managed well enough with a basic graphic equalizer, and the sound became very impressive! I don't think you can ask for anything more at this price. Pyle, you've got my attention.

great for the price

Mounted these in my jeeps over head speaker bar..sound ok with out an amp but great with one..use a sub for more bass...look great, well built..

Good sound quality

This component system has great sound quality for the price, even tho they don't produce very much bass that can be fixed with a good woofer, I would defiantly recommend these to a friend

these speakers are dynamic ive had them for about 6 months. and the sound quality is crisp & clean for the price you cant beat.plye audio been taking a beating from car audio extremeist over the years.but if you want quality for less i recomend this product they look great and sound awsome.just hook them up to the crossovers they come with and crank them bad boys you will be impress on the clarity trust me i have over 20 pyle speakers in my ride and they sound really good..

fair for the price

I found the speakers good for what muzic and books on CD I like. My son on the other hand has blown out his in a few weeks.It is very hard to find OEM size speakers for our cars. The pyle speakers fit with little or no custom fitting in our older BMW's

These are a really good deal as I didn't realize they came with the crossover network and a pair of tweeters. As with most sets, the speaker wire included is a joke as it such small guage you could use it for dental floss. the speakers function good enough for me as I am using the 5" pair as rear door speakers in my Dodge Ram but I should have gotten a pair designed as stand alone speakers. if you need a component set-up, these would be a good choice as Pyle has a proven name and reputation. All in all I would recommend these.
