Ehhhh

Super cheap deck, works for a budget. Not great for loud systems. Doesn't put out enough! Also there is no equalizer and the presets suck. If you're just wanting something other than stock, this is a good buy. If you are using this with your subs, you will be disappointed.

Nice Features

This is a nice stereo and easy setup since I purchased all the recommended add-ons. Installed it in my girlfriends 2000 beetle and works great, the only downside being that the suggested curved plate that holds the stereo in suggests that to fit properly you may have to trim some of the plastic from the front of some stereos. Well turns out this is one of them, everyone e went together easy enough and I chose to not trim the plastic and it fits fine-ish and well, that's good enough.

Get what you pay for

It is a good little Car stereo for the price. Having to bypass the preamp to instal is not the fault of the radio itself accept that is has no treble or bass functions for adjustments just pre programmed equalizers such as rock or pop. Several of the buttons serve a multi function and if not pressed just right will not do what you are wanting. It has froze up on me several times but really is not to big of a deal. It is lightweight and reads all the audio formats i have just fine. I do enjoy this little stereo but if i do it again i think I will pop for a bit extra for a little better stereo. Works great for those in the digital audio age.
