It's a Pyle alright. A Pyle of....

I purchased this tuner to put in our tailgating vehicle the FansVan. While tailgating we are unable to receive the local Fox and CBS affiliates who broadcast the NFL on Sunday. We tailgate a mere five to seven miles tops from these stations and can't pull them in. This tuner is worthless unless you want to watch infomercials and bible thumpers. What a waste of money.

Pyle Pltvatsc1 is Great except for one issue.....

I love this product but I don't understand why I can't program fox (channel 2). I have tried and tried. Overall I would recommend this.

only problem is if you buy separate tv tuner when you turn on tv turner turns monitor off . not good. mfg needs to address this

allright , except for the sound ...

The sound sucks. It needs some kind of audio booster on it, other than that the picture is great and signals strong. Remote is kinda poopie too.

I purchase the pyle pltvatsc1 tv tuner about six months ago excited about the purchase I made am happy with the product install it in my dodge caravan for my own use I love it. You will never regrets spending your money on this product.

Pyle TV Tuner

Digital tuner works great but in a moving vehicle the reception is in and out a lot. Not worth the buy if you want the tuner working while the vehicle is in motion. When the vehicle is still, works great.

Great unit

This is a great unit and value. Works as described. As much as they say you can't get any signal in motion because of the digital signal. I still get decent signal in motion in open roads, highways etc. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Great product for retro fitting and old car monitor

A great product for the car when upgrading a monitor that doesn't have a built-in tuner. The supplied cables and power cable was a real convenience but the device ran very warm to hot. There is no fan or external heat sink.

Nice tuner

Installed this in my work truck, hooked it up to my Jensen VM9313. Awesome picture and sound. The included bowtie antenna surprised me, I'm 30 miles from Philly and I received most of the networks with it. The ones I didn't get were VHF stations, a better antenna would capture them imo.

I'd recommend it to anyone. The only consideration is that DTV isn't as stable as analog TV in a moving vehicle. You may have reception issues in a moving vehicle.

Not Satisfied!

I purchased two Pyle tuners, the first one was installed and everything worked for 4 days and the tuner stopped working. The screen viewed brilliant colors, unfortunately, it was not working. The tuner wasn't scrambled with poor reception, it wasn't working, a still red yellow screen. I pulled it out and order a replacement Pyle and this one worked fine until 3 weeks later. This Pyle tuner did the same thing. I sent the second one back and gave up.

Good receiver, Poor Sound

I have a show car and liked the idea of having broadcast TV available to the car's monitor(s). It tunes well, but the sound quality sucks...not just with the car but with a separate monitor while testing it before installation. Priced cheap, but you get what you pay for.

perfect tv tuner

I purchased the PLTVATSC1 digital tv tuner, i installed it in my car now i can watch digital over the air tv!!! works perfectly!!!
