Good overall value
The PMP50 is a good overall value. The price point is very good and the unit is light, yet sturdy. The siren is extremely loud and easy to hear over a long distance; a good choice for getting the attention of people located far away from the operator. The talk volume could be louder, as I doubt the true range is 1 mile (at least for the talk function) outdoors. However, even though the volume may not go as high as I'd like, the sound quality is clear. I would also like to see an optional trigger activator on the pistol grip so that you don't always need to carry the microphone. A very good buy if you are looking for a quality bullhorn at a very affordable price.

I have been using this megaphone now for over five months. It has worked perfectly both in the rain and heat of Florida. It has exceeded my expectations in sound quality and loudness, and the batteries have lasted longer than expected. I would definately rec on end this item!
