Good speaker

It is a very good speaker, good looking and loud.

Best bang for the buck

Used this to replace the stock subwoofer on the promedia computer speaker system. This woofer is built better than the stock sub and sounds just as good. only drawback was the terminals were the same size which was hard to distinguish which was positive and negative as there were no etch marks. The exposed cone gives the box a more stylish look to the system as well. Overall great buy.

Good deal

I used this to replace a speaker in a Klipsch 2.1 Promedia after the foam fell apart at around 8 years old. I dunno if this one will last 8 years but it sounds the same so far. I am just leaving it unprotected (no grill). The original speaker grill won't fit because the OEM speaker has a integral plastic ring for that, but the OEM speaker is not exactly a standard type so that's not a shortcoming of this product.

This thing is so tight

I put this in my 2002 Mazda Millenia and it kicks so freaking hard. I put about 50 watts through each of them! Some day want to upgrade to some 8" subs that would be nice.

Good replacement sub!

I bought this sub to replace the factory sub in my 95 Lincoln Town Car as the old one was just done. This new one installs easily in the factory sub enclosure with a little modification. You will need to make new holes for the new sub to attach to the enclosure. The sound is great and the bass is tight. It has enough bass for me. I would recommend this sub to anyone who wants a direct replacement for a 95-97 Town Car with the JBL system.

Good speaker for the money

Well for the price of the speaker it delivers really good performance. I picked this up for my little brother's 97 Explorer that had the factory JBL stereo package which featured a 6.5" powered sub in the back. This factory speaker was worn out and rattling pretty badly due to the foam ring connecting the cone to the frame of the speaker disintegrating over time. It fit well and only took maybe a half hour to properly install it and seal it with the factory installed box. It sounded pretty good for the price. Definitely not the best speaker out there but for the money to sounds good. I'm not sure what the wattage output of the jbl amplifier is but it adequately powers this speaker. It's been installed for over 6 months so far and haven't had any problems.

Sounds and hits great! (Used in for a home system.)

Used this sub to replace a dieing RCA sub that I ended up blowing using another amp. The step up in sound is incredable. No, this is not used in the living room but my bedroom so I can not say how it sounds in a car or in a large room but it rattles things in the bedroom and sounds good doing it. Can't comment on durability as time will only tell if it last or not but from the quality of the build and the magnet size and the cone material it seems the product should last fine. SHOULD. So unless it blows in sometime soon I recommend this sub for anyone wanting to replace a cheap home stereo or simply wants to add a tiny bit of punch to their car.

Best Subs Ever Made!!!

Ya, my friend has 4 subs, and he says that my subs are insane!! I have 6 of these bad boys in my custom made box and they hit so hard. Never even consider buying anything other than these. Good buy for the price.

BMW Z3 Sub

Used to replace the factory Harmon Kardon sub in a 01 Bmw Z3.
Perfect fit in the factory enclosure.
Works fine, remember this is a classic open roadster not a street thumpin rice burner.
