I highly recommend the simplicity of its function. Has a lot of features. And long range remote capability. However, i cannot use the deffoger feature and i cannot get any support from the manufacturer DEI and retailer sonix. But it is worth the money.

Exacty what I wanted- the instructions were a little complex but not too bad- I had wires that they didn't explain- and it didn't tell me where to
Get specific vehicle wiring- but overall great product for the money.

I installed this product in my wife's friend car and it works great (winter is cruel in illinois) she loves it, the fact that her car's engine can start with the push of a button without her being in the car is priceless.
I recomend this product because of its compability with any vehicle.
With its D2D port it can use xpresskit modules for full integration with your vehicle's factory securyty system.
The range is not the best but is not bad either, remote start, keyless entry, light flash & horn confirmation, as well as trunk release and more features gives this product a great value for an affordable price.

Very good product & a great price. DEI is the leading name in security & remote starters. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality remote starter. Very informative install guide, vehicles will vary.

Easy and Effective

I've installed tons of aftermarket electronics...some deliver others don't. This product does exactly what its designed to do. Remote start in the harshest Idaho weather...no problem. Unlocks everything ...no problem. Ease of installation 4hours or less unless you don't know what you are doing. I have 2 installed one on a scion xb another on a chevy tahoe both work great!

Very easy to install functions are easy to change or adjust, works perfect for a basic remote start, keyless entry, as long as you don't have a ton of aux's that you want to program.

Good basic remote start system

I have installed 2 of the units. Both have been working fine. They are the same high quality products you would expect from Python and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a basic remote start/keyless entry system. The unit is like a mix between the old Python 1400XP and the Valet 561R. If you are familiar with either of those products, you will be happy with this model.

Great product

I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good remote starter. I've had for over 7 months now and haven't had any problems with it and I thoroughly enjoy having it. The most useful part of having it was to heat up my truck during the winter months so that when I went to get in the ice had already melted

Great Alarm

I purchased this alarm to not only protect my vehicle but also add a remote starter so that on those hot or cold days I could give my car a head start. The install is a little more involved because of the remote start so beginner installers might be above their heads and I recommend getting professional help. The remotes are small and easy to use. The alarm has good distance for arming and disarming. Overall I would say buy this product, good price, good quality components, what more could you want.

Wow, very impressed

I love this thing!!! I'll admit, the installation was difficult, mainly just figuring out which wires in the truck to tie in to. I also did not cut any factory wires to try and prevent failures, I stripped back the insulation and soldered on. This process also took some time and there are a lot of wires to connect! And I had to reverse the polarity of the lock/unlock output so my chevy would get it, a couple relays and we were good. I could lock/unlock/start my truck from an interior cubical on the second floor of my ofice building (inside), at least 500 ft away, maybe further. Line-of-site (even with glass between) this thing worked a long long ways. No line of site, not quite as far but still good. I like features so I could turn off the honks and stuff like that. And a great price for what you get. I would buy many more of these if needed and recommend to everyone. Only reason to by something different is if you need 2-way control.

Good product

The remote starter is good overall, it has very limited instructions and you definitely need a guide for the wires in your vehicle *some experience in wiring* or have it professionally installed. It works great for how cheap it was and I liked that it had just the aux button rather than a trunk or panic since I have a truck and no trunk or alarm. It is easy to use just press the button and they work. It has a decent range and works well through walls. I mainly got it for a remote starter at work and to have the keyless entry was nice as well. It does it jobs overall it doesn't have all the bells and whistles like the viper remotes but I was also surprised that it has the option to use your smart phone with an app. However its a paid feature extra and to me wasn't worth the price but If you'd rather use your phone than the remote you can do so with this model which is cool in case I ever want it.

Great remote start

Easy to install pro install is recommended. One thing I liked about this unit is that it arms and disarms a factory alarm. It can be programmed to turn on a rear window defrost timed or pulsed very cool It is a DEI (Viper).
