Great Replacement
First of all it got here in 3 Days, when I paid nothing for shipping. I am using it as a Home Theater sub or a 2.1 system. I had to adjust the mounting hole but aside it was a snug fit. it is being powered by a 70-100w rms amp. It sounds amazing and louder. as of right now i'm in love with it. Definitely Recommend it!

Wow! I Love RE Audio Now!
I have gone through many different brands of car audio including some of the best. FI/ Obsidian, Sundown, AQ, Kicker, Pioneer, Rockford Fosgate, Audiopipe, Diamond Audio, Skar and much more and i can honestly say that these 8s impressed me very much. I built a box about .85 cubic foot and tuned to 36 hz. and these things sound amazing and are very loud and clear. i put down my friends 2 kicker 12s, I fed them 400 or more watts rms of clean power and they handle it like a champ with no distortion, bottoming out or anything. overall an amazing sub for the price.

Excellent Sub for Home Theatre/Backyard Parties!
With the low Fs and Qts this sub would be redonkulous in a T-Line enclosure! However, my goal with this driver was to replace a "Kicking" 10" driver that's Comp-arable. (Hint) that was in a HUGE T-Line box. That huge box sat around taking-up lots of space in my home office room waiting for the yearly parties to come around. Sooo I decided to go with a better quality 8-incher and make an L-Slot Ported enclosure to fit into my IKEA Expedit shelving unit. Using Cabinet-Grade .75" Plywood made an enclosure 13 x 13 x 18 for 1.02 cu. ft. internal tuned to 34Hz. Volume sounds same, but plays cleaner! And that's with being under-powered by a Dayton Audio MCA2250E 2.1 Channel Class D Plate Amplifier which gives 50 Watts RMS @ 4Ohms for the sub channel! I would to hear one of these in an AutoTuba enclosure!

Great sub for the money.
I bought this subwoofer to hold me over while I was working onmycustom box for my fi audio sub. i have used the RE for about a month in a simple ported box I made and it sounds really good. Im using rockgord fosgste prime 750 amp which is a little over 200 watts @4 ohm. Using this single 8 folks out the stock sound nicely. Your not going to flex your trunk apart with 1 8. But it has great sound, gets really low and is really a fair price. The only thing I would like to see is spring loaded wire terminals rather than spade connectors. I would suggest it to anyone looking for a nice sounding low hitting 8 in woofer. I have used lanzar max 8s, sunfown audio sa8s, aq/sounqubed, and fi audio just to name a few.

bang for your buck
Nicely built.for a 8" sub it rocks..used as an oem upgrade on an hhr factory box. Add a 3/4" spacer and removed stock hhr sub grille..upgraded si sub amp..huge difference. Bass upgrade for less than $100.

Best bang for buck yet!
I put these subs in a backpack. I also had a pair of these subs in my car's door, as a 8" door sub.
They sound phenomenal, clean punchy sound, great power handling. I would highly recommend these subs for a sealed box, as they sound wonderful in one :)
give them good clean power though, they love it!

RE Audio REX8S4
I bought a pair of these 8's for a car of mine. Space was limited. These speakers are hard to beat for the price. Sound good as well, so a win win.
