Failed to uphold under normal conditions.
Bought these a long with the 10" SXX RE sub, which was an awesome sub until it was stolen. But the the SR 6.5's would be in the same category if they could just hold up against normal wear and tear. Had them installed in my RX7 and they sounded awesome, but after less than a year of minimal play, I removed them, only to find the surround was deteriorating on both. Keep in mind the car was garage kept and I had protective insulation cups installed on the backs. I also only had 75 watts max applied to them. If I had them for two years straight with normal listening habits, I would recommend them, but with less than ten hours of use, I cannot recommend them.
