Sound dampening for Computers

Dynamat cuts quite a few dB off of the sounds and rattles that come from my computer. I put a sheet on the insides of the case sides. Only downside is the maternal does also insulate so have to ensure good ventilation.

Works

I used this in my doors, mostly to eliminate road noise. It is fairly easy to install (removing the door panels is the hardest part). It does significantly dampen the noise. Applying it to more surface would probably make a greater impact. Well worth the money.

Dynamat Xtreme Wedge Pak

This Dynamat worked well in my 2004 Pontiac GTO. I was able to Dynamat the entire trunk lid, rear corners of trunk, and used some behind my license plate as well. This is good stuff, Dynamat sticks well and is removed easily. Just dont accidentally get any on painted surfaces!

Expensive-But Extremely Functional

This is my first experience with Dynamat. I purchased this pack in addition to another one. I had enough to cover each of my doors and the "tailgate" on my CR-V. My CR-V is a 2006 and actually had quite a bit of road noise from the factory. I was surprised to notice that this actually disappeared after the application of Dynamat. I used to be able to hear rainwater as if my windows were down, but now my car sounds as it properly should. However, the real purpose of this dynamat was, of course, for my audio system. Since I purchased new speakers and had everything installed at once I never really had a placebo with and without the Dynamat AND the new speakers, so there is no way to tell. Yes, my sound system sounds great....but I also got new speakers (so there's no way to really tell) There is no vibration, except from my back window which is 100% free floating glass, and unpreventable.

Dynamat 10425 Xtreme Wedge Pack

This was worth every penny. I didn’t think covering my trunk lid (’98 Lincoln Continental) with Dynamat would make such a remarkable improvement. This wedge pack will give you the perfect amount of Dynamat needed to cover the trunk lid of most cars, and it's really easy to apply yourself.

Excellent for the money!

The wedge pack is an excellent way to add dampening without spending a lot of cash. It is especially useful when not too much is needed. I bought a pack to dampen two doors and the packed worked perfectly. Not only did I experience better midbass, it also quieted down the cabin a bit.

The Dynamat Xterme line in general is possibly the best mass loading sound dampening material out there. Adding a layer of MLV above the dynamat will help create a quiet ride.

dynamat helped me eliminate my trunk rattle and for $15 for a sheet big enough to layer ur trunk rattle areas, u cant beat it

Stops Rattles

I used this for my trunk lid. It has made the trunk lid sound a lot more solid when I close it. It has stopped a few rattles. It was just enough to do one layer of the trunk. I did use some for the license plate and some for the rear deck. It sticks well

Much needed

Dynamat is awesome! For my setup it doesn't help with vibration much, but the acoustics and SPL levels did increase by about 2 dbs, just by placing this roll on my trunk lid. I recommend it for anyone who faces there subs towards the trunk for more boom. The adhesive on the backside sticks very well, so make sure you have it lined up before placing it down and rolling it on.

excellent product

I have used this product many times and it always does what it claims. Easy to install and didn't even need a roller just used my fingers to push it down.

Dynamat Xtreme

Simple to use, just used it with components I purchased from Sonic Electronix around the woofer door area, simple easy to use, but next time I would also get the roller tool. Works as advertised

Pretty good but you need alot of it

Its decent. I used it for the top of my trunk lid and the rattles are still there but not as loud if u had more it would be better i was running a single kicker comp r 12 about 800w it did its job for the most part. Recommend buying alot

this stuff works

just used it in the trunk and you can for sure tell the difference. The knock test is the best way to tell the difference you knock on a body panel without dynamat and then knock on one with. The panels you cover almost become more solid and have a different sound, better sound. Be careful of the aluminum layer its extremely sharp cut myself bout 3 times... The best thing to have with you when installing is a solid rubber rolling tool this gives you the best seal..

Excellent Sound Dampener

Great product! I highly recommend for speaker door installation. I had 6.5 components installed bare in my speaker doors of my truck and it rattle the heck out of the doors. I installed these dynamats afterward and since then not a single buzzing noise. Great sound dampener!

Simply Amazing

My eclipse was a rattle king before i put this stuff in. Now it sounds wonderful with my system.

Worth It!

This is totally worth it if you ever have a sub in your trunk. Makes the bass notes soo much better and more bad @$$!

Awesome price to do your doors!

I bought this pack when I replaced my stocks Fronts and rears and Not a single rattle. I cut it into 4 strips and it easily covered my speakers and used the hole cut outs just behind the speakers.( WATCH OUT THE ALUMINUM IS SHARP!) But it also cut out alot of the road noise too. I had extra so I just threw a strip in the upper left quadrant of my doors so any vibrations would be absorbed that far up for a really clean sounding upgrade.

I love this product . The reason I bought this dynamat was for my two twelves I have in the trunk. The dynamat did just as it said it would, I got rid of the trunk vibrations and mazes my base sound sound richer. Honestly if I had the money, I would dynamat my entire car.

Good Product; Easy to use

I highly recommend Dynamat, this stuff is awesome. I ordered a few sheets for my trunk and front door components, and big difference. The bass is hits harder with no rattles and I can turn up my door speakers with no distortion. You need this deadener and Sonic is the place to get it!

Best Upgrade For Your Buck

When I first got this product, I wasn't really sure on how much it would reduce distortion from my trunk. When I stretched it out, it wasn't able to cover my whole trunk but, I must say that applying this on really improved the sound quality in my system. the rattle from the trunk has completely stopped and now I just have to make it so my license plate will stop rattling as well. This Dynamat is worth every penny and you wont be able to buy this any cheaper than here. I went to C***** C*** and B*** B** and their prices ranged from $45-$55. So save money and buy here on Sonic. Also, some people may say to get the rubber roller but I just used the back end of my screw driver and it worked just fine with applying this product onto my trunk lid.

Good product

Works surprisingly well in doors might be worth it more in a sub box. I could actually hear a difference immediately.

Works pretty well

Cuts down on back wave interference, as advertised. I definitely noticed a reduction in the reverberations at the mid-range frequencies; I was getting a lot of interference during palm mutes in thrash metal songs before installing these dampeners. I am pleased with the results overall, and the sound quality is better. They might not provide very much improvement in some applications, but for me they worked pretty well.

Use in a harley

Ordered this product from advise of other harley riders who wanted a better sound from their bikes speakers. Seems to work well, no complaints.

Really works!!

These little things are a 150% better than fiber-fill and they dont take up valuable space like fillers do. Ive have seen a great change in sound quality and my cones dont make weird noises any more...

Dynamat Dynaxorb Speaker Pak 11800

If you establish at doors of dynamics with the bottom boundary frequency not below 90 hertz you will very strongly gain this decision. Small enough weight, convenience and speed of installation will allow you to muffle a door of your car decently enough. If all is required to apply more low-frequency loudspeakers better certainly to apply that that more serious.

i have a pioneer component set ran off a amp. *doing rated RMS* i seen these and gave them a try. dynaxorb did make a nice difference. these are worth the price if you want or have quality speakers and want the sound they were made to have, or better the sound. must buy! only from sonic tho of course :)

Noticeable?

I bought this product with the intent originally to tile it on the back of my sub box inside, and hopefully get a better sound response. Instead I put them in the door panels and never tried the speakers without this installed ( the speakers were brand new and never used before) I don't know if it makes much of a difference, but my miss sound very good compared to before. Then again it's a whole new speaker so I can't tell!!

Home made speaker box

I made a steel speaker box out of a small rectangle tool box to fit between the roll bars in my Toyota FJ40. I am using Pioneer 6" round speakers slammed next to each other in the box. Mounting the speakers on the hinged lid and applying the Dynamat Dynaxorb Speaker Pak 11800 in the bottom of the box. Originally the sound was tinny / and tiny. With the pads it helped bring out the high's. An open truck is not the best environment for sound quality but at least I can here my radio/player with some high's now. Bye, Ty

I am a SQ guy and bought this on a lark. Started listening and son of a gun this cd helped me out on some things and reconfirmed my ears are still pretty good. A good investment.

Very Detailed

This disc is awesome, I wasn't far off with my own ear but this disc did help me fine tune some details in my clarity and my low end, now my system is super crisp and hits hard at the right time if you know what I mean!!!

Checking my ears

Bought this on a whim to double check my ears to see if they were as good as I think. Well, found out I'm still there. Did amps via VOM & checked my ears to see if I had speakers & sub in the ball park.
This is good for a novice and will help teach them what stuff should sound like.
