Great Product
Purchased the refurbished unit and the unit came looking brand new. I installed this in my 2005 Toyota Sienna to replace the stock radio and cd player.
Pros:
- Easy install, took 3 hours but the challenge was with the steering wheel controls module. Took a call to tech support but they got the problem solved in 30 seconds.
- CD Player is awesome, used it on a 6 hour trip over the holidays and it worked flawlessly.
- GPS - Again worked really well on the same trip, identified back country roads with no problem and routing was direct and quickest (we checked via a map).
- iPod Integration - bought the Clarion component and it worked right out of the box for both songs and video.
- Bluetooth - haven't used it yet.
Cons:
- Radio Reception: As with all Toyotas there are two antennas and with these after market radios you only get one. Hooked up the larger Motorola antenna and the radio doesn't get the stations from 30 miles away like the old radio. Wish they made an adapter to be able to use both antennas.
Overall the unit is great so far. Lastly I bought the year long extended warranty to cover me as if the unit was new. It still ended up being cheaper than the new unit.
