Good Product!

The installation in my 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited was relatively simple. The only two issues I experienced was upon installing a Viper 5902 remote starter unit I had to connect the two power wires from the remote starter ignition and starter relays before the unit would work. The other issue is that I had to program the CHR -T5 to lock the doors before it remote started to avoid setting of the OEM alarm. This causes my two way remote to display unlock when it is actually locked.

Best place to purchase...

I was pleased with the simplicity of installing the EVO-CHR-T5 system into my 2012 Jeep Liberty. Jeep wanted approximately $700.00 to install there remote starter module using OEM parts of course and reprogramming the on board computer. I opted to try the Fortin system since even with the purchase of the Flash Link 2 module (necessary for programming the EVO-ALL in "stand alone" mode) I still saved about $575.00. There is a bit of a learning curve utilizing the Flash Link Manager and if you run into problems Fortin customer service will help you out. The guys at Sonic Electronix had the best price and were honest. If I asked a question about the Fortin that they were not sure of they said so and directed me to try the Fortin Customer Service number. Fast shipping and a great price....I'll be back for my next auto electronics needs.
