purchased this unit last week finished install today at no fault to sonic.
i am still pleased with unit small compact did everything it was supposed too. DO NOT trust you tube video for install there is 3 wires on 16 pin connector that are not connected to t harness. don't know why they easily could be. so read instruction they point this out clearly other than that install was easy hook up t harness connect 3 wires to t harness then hook up can hi and can low. Now when i finished this the unit still didn't work turned out it was not flashed right from fortin i bought flasher flashed myself very easy and everything works fine. still with unit and flasher did not spend as much money as i would of buying elsewhere. still think it is a great deal. i would recommend getting flash tool as well

Great unit, easy to install

I own a locksmith shop and during the winter months we do 20 remote start installs every week. These Fortin kits are easy to install, most in less than an hour by an experienced installer. I have installed hundreds of these units and not one has ever given me a problem.

Remote Start System For 2008-up Ford and Mazda (Fortin EVO-FORT1)

Need help did everything I was supposed to and bought the flash link updater and it still doesn't work. Ignition stays on with the red plug in so I unplugged it and everything went the way it was supposed to but after the red and blue led flashed then nothing and it still doesn't work

Works great, fast shipping. Easy install with the T harness

Simple Install on 2011 F-150

Install was simple. Only 3 external wiring splices and 2 in vehicle splices required to use the unit as a stand alone remote starter. In vehicle programming was no problem and after a subsequent unit flash on the PC using the flash link updater everything worked as expected. The unit is very compact so finding a location to mount it was no problem. Very happy so far!
