Great For Powersports
Installed on a 2015 Vulcan Vaquero, Rockford hit the mark with output capability and tonality. Using just a Kenwood headunit X-over and EQ, it was easy to dial these in for clean high output while maintaining great tonal quality in the midbass, vocal range, and up. Bass is going to lack on a motorcycle, but I personally measured Fs near 80hz with a Qts around 1.0 making them very useful to add a HPF around 70hz that lends clean percussion and string bass at loud volumes. The tweeters are surprisingly detailed with no hint of the usual small tweeter shrill. A very natural overall sound! Backed by a NVX 150x2 amplifier so headroom isn't an issue. I see no need to upgrade from these at this point.
