iron workhorse!

This amplifier is one of the toughest amps i've ever owned, period!

Simply amazing

I love these speakers. I like that the crossover is built into the speaker so one less thing to worry about and makes it very easy and simple to install. The music is clear and rich. I have a JL Audio XD700/5 pushing 75 watts to each speaker and it handles very well. The only thing that made my installation a headache was it didn't fit so i had cut some metal to make it fit. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

Nice entry level

compared to kickers entry level, this speakers are way better in every way, even looks. good lows and highs, awesome mids.

audiophile

These components are awesome!!!! Take the time to tune them properly and you will be blown away by the sound quality . I would put these up against any top dollar comp set [ if tuned right ]. They are fantastic, there is no company that can compare at this price, Fosgate is one of the best if not the best. I have been doing car audio for a long time and would recommend Fosgate even if i didnt sell there stuff that should tell you something. These speakers kick a##!!!!!!!!!!

great product

I highly recommend these speakers. I had audiobahns before these and the Rockfords blow them out of the water. They are very loud and have pretty good mid-bass. I put these in a convertible and when I'm driving 70 down the highway they still sound crystal clear. I hooked them up to an amplifier and they jam. For the price these are the speakers to buy.

Awesome speakers at an awesome price

Well I bought these speakers because my front doors went out and I couldn't be happier. They sound great even without an amp powering them. I will have another amp and another set of these speakers soon just because they sound so good.

They are very loud & clear speakers, great lows when used with the bafels I got to go with them... and they are hooked up to a 500 watt 4ch RF amp well worth the money.

These speakers are so crispy clean sounding its retarded. It is night and day compared to the stock bose originally in my altima se r. Must buy!!!!!

Great full range

I love this product because of the great sound clarity and acceptable price. I use these frequently in cars as well as other applications. These speakers have a very clean professional look along with their amazing sound.

Excellent value

I bought these components as an upgrade to my 2002 Jeep Cherokee's stereo. It was quite a job, but well worth it. The bass and clarity of these speakers was more than I had hoped for. It really needs a sub to round them out, but even without one, they handle what they're rated for and are very clean sounding. Much, much better than factory and well worth the price.

Amazing sound!

I replaced my flimsy (25 W RMS 50 W peak)
original 6 speaker set in my 2007 Hyundai Elantra
with these, and a set of P165 in the back, wow!
What a change in sound! The tweeters are clean and crisp, mids have more punch! Running them on my head unit for now (22RMS) can't wait to put them on
an 50 W RMS amplifier!

Great Speakers

I bought these when i purchased a system to install in my 2000 Chevy tracker 4dr. and man did they work awesome. powering them is a renegade ren1100s 4 channel (Great rf product just misbadged) lol. Anyways these things really shine with power behind them one huge plus is how the tweeters sound and where the crossover is. The tweeters aint too bright and the crosssover in the mid bass basket... one word to describe these speakers.... BOOYAH

The sound is awesome but they didnt fit my car like they said they would .. my cousin had to do some extra work to put them in.

Amazing sound

Installed on my 2000 corolla. Made my own holes for tweeters. Speakers give out good bass, tweeters excellent for the HF. Recommend !

Good on the highs but crappy lows

Very good on the high sounds...especially with the tweeters...Right now I don't have subs, so the absence of bass, with the very loud clear treble kind of hurts my ears, but that's a good sign...on the bass kicks though, these speakers sound worse than most stock speakers...it has the cheap punch sound, that doesn't sustain, but just sounds like flicking a piece of cardboard....Very attractive cone however...the internal crossovers are excellent for door mounts...no need to mount any box....over all I was pretty impressed....

great components

these are really good and for 90 bucks they cant be beat. you get the brand name as well as quality with these. i hooked them up to my powerbass 400.4x on a pioneer deh p5000ub headunit. great for the price.

Love these Speakers

Bought these speakers for my Magnum and installed them front and back. I love them...good range of sound in the highs and lows and with the 6x9 adapters coming free with them that is a big help on the install!!

Highly recommend them.

Good For The Money

They get the job done well. For the money you cant beat the sound quality, durability, and style. I don't have an amp on them and they get loud. I would love a little more mid-range bass response. If I didn't have two 15in woofers I would need more.

Rockford P1652-S component system

Installed these in a GMC canyon crew cab to replace the (what I found to be) crappy paper-coned blaupunkt speakers after the front driver side stopped working. The sound out of these is amazing. Next step is to get an amp and a sub to round out the whole system.
These were a great price and the rep RF has stands behind them-cant wait to hear how they perform with an amp. The service from Sonic was also top notch. Highly recommend this product-the integrated crossovers make the install a breeze, and Sonic had the best price I could find.

Good speaker, great price

It took a little bit for the speakers to get broken in but now that they are they sound great!

These speakers kick some real a**

You get a lot of choices in sub 100$ components speakers. I fitted it into front door with a pair of Dynamat speaker kit and minimal damping. Connected it to a Pio head unit and a Hertz amplifier with 75 W RMS for each channel.
Oh boy, they really shake the whole car up. The high frequency response in particular is noticeable.

Great buget price name brand conponents. I have a 1994 Honda Civic Ex. I put these speakers in the stock front and rear location. I have an Alpine deck with iPod conrol. I listen pretty much only to my iPod nano in this car. This deck puts out 12w per set, to the front and rear sets. I don't have an amplifier on them yet and they sound great. I have 2 12' Rockford P1's in the trunk with a 2 channel 300.2 punch series amp. THe 400.4 I have will eventually go on the highs. But I have to say, as much as this Honda slaps bass, the deck powerred highs keep up really well.

awesome sq for a great deal

Rockford has done it this year. They have made a very great sound quality component set for a very decent price. The mounting options are amazing. The crossover being built in helps speed up install time. Overall I would buy again if i had the room.

hooked these up in a bench set up to to make sure all of my new equipment was working properly. These are amazing i really suggest buying them.

Harsh, tinny, & unpleasant with no body or depth

The factory-installed door speakers in my Volvo V70 burned up and the local car stereo guy foisted these on me (said he couldn't get replacement woofers, that I'd have to replace the whole speaker system).

Man, do these things stink! They're way way way too bright - very harsh & tinny with no body or depth at all - it's an entirely unpleasant listening experience, as if someone was playing the music over the phone. I guess if you've sustained hearing damage and want to be able to understand the news without wearing your hearing aid then these may be the speakers for you. They're definitely not for me.

While the stock Volvo speakers are nothing to write home about, they're light years better than these lemons. I ripped out the Rockfords and replaced them with the original factory tweeters (which still worked) and some replacement OEM woofers. A vast improvement.
