This amp kept blowing my sub

My buddy had this amp hooked up to a boston acoustics g-1 in a sealed box and man did it hit hard, it shook his whole truck. This amp is very nice, he has blown his sub several times and He finally decied to upgrade to an alpine type-R sub and this amp even powers that bad boy. Rockford Fosgate makes good stuff, thats the bottom line.

Rockford rated at 12 volts not 14.4 volts

I have this amp hooked up to two alpine E series subs in a sealed box and it puts out almost twice what it is rated at, 498 watts to be exact. the reason for this is that Rockford Fosgate's amps are rated at 12 volts compared to almost all other amps
found to rated at 14.4 volts. Also keep in mind when hooking this amp up you need to not go cheap on the wiring and make sure you use 4 ga power and ground wires with a good brand name (Rockford, jl, absolute.)

It's Good

I had one of these amps powering two P1 15's in a 87 Crown Vic and did she bang. We took the amp out and put it in a honda and powered two solo baric 15's and still went hard.

rockford fosgates are woth the money

ive seen this amp in action n it really pushes hard. its very underrated. the performance sheet rates the amp well over 400 watts. it is well worth the money. i highly recommend it.
