Best subs for small space.

I put 2 of these behind the seat in my '90 Model Single Cab Silverado, and they fit great and sound even better! I'm not running but 500 watts through them and they produce a great bass. Any one looking for bass in a tight spot should buy these hands down. Whether you want little or a lot of bass you can get whatever you want out of these. Buy, buy, buy!

I bought two of these and hooked them up to a hifonics 1000 rms in my four door f250 and they sound really good. Definitely satisfied.

These are probly the best subs I have owned. I originally purchased them for my pickup which didn't have very much space and got rid of it shortly after I bought them. I ended up getting a car and decided to buy two more and fill the trunk up. For being shallow mounts, these sound amazingly loud and clear. They seem to take a little longer for the break in period but after thats over, they hurt your ears. I would definitely recommend these subs to anyone even if space isn't a factor, they are loud either way. Just can't go wrong with these subwoofers!!!!!

Big punch for small area

I have two of these in a 03 f150 under the back seat, powered by an Alpine M500 with a line driver and a capacitor. It hits the highs really well although i wish it hit lows like a deep sub. Would definantly recommend.

Perfect amount of bass

Had it in my 06 F150 crew cab under the rear seats...bumped perfectly. No rattle or scratchiness in the bass and had the perfect amount of thump...I barely had my amp turned up and the bass was still on point. Definitely recommend this to someone who likes a lot of thump or even a little bit...perfect for both types of listening. 10/10...highly recommended to the listener with limited space in their vehicle like I did.

Good sound quality

I would recommend these subs to anyone who needs to use shallow subs. They sound great and hit most notes. The one problem with them that I really don't like is they lack the ability to hit the really deep notes that a non-shallow sub would hit no problem. I guess this is a universal problem with all shallow subs. So overall I am happy with them.

Honestly, this sub right here straight BUMBS!! I have this sub installed in my Mazda B3000 pickup and it can plain out thump. I highly recommend this woofer to anyone who need a shallow sub!

I have 1 of these in a frontier behind the seat. Had a cheap box, changed it and now it is unbelievable. Blowing away a normal premier series sub. I would recommend for every one especially if you port the box. Great bass has heads turning!!!!!!

I was not sure if i would be satisfied with a shallow mount because bigger is better right? i did not want to put a box in my SUV because it kills storage space. i have a ford excursion with swing open dutch doors. i mounted a sub in my back doors. with only 4 inches of door depth i needed a shallow mount. i paired these subs with a 1200 watt rockford prime 1000 amp, 1050 rms. i can say these subs will give you great bass but they do have limits, when i push them to max they cut out. i had two 12" kicker cvr's with a rockford 500 watt amp and they blew these away. Not to take away from these subs because i am very satisfied and i am very hard to please. if you have limited space these are the answer.

So far these things have really rocked. Had them about 6 months now and really pleased. Would definitely recommend them. I listen to rap, rock, and country. All hit awesome.

I have this sub in a custom enclosure in my 99 s10 regular cab and it hits huge, sounds amazing running on a rock fos amp. If you want good strong bass and have a space issue this is a great sub.

The best thing about the Rockford Fosgate p3 shallow is that it gives u great quality sound @ all different levels.u can hear the quality of the bass in it,heck,u can even FEEL it haha.and there's no better place to have it than in tha back seat of your '89 single cab s10.such beauty.but anyways it has its cons too.like it can only take but so much watts. the speaker max out @ 800 watts but I think ill stay away from that range just to be safe. But I will be coming to order another one very soon Sonic Electronix. very soon.

Don't recommend. The Pioneer not only hits way harder but I'm already having trouble with one out 2 and it sounds like distortion just in one when it actually does hit hard.....

great buy

i bought 2 of these and i was gonna put 2 in my truck but only had room for 1. after six months that 1 is going strong and the sound is clean and crisp. i highly recommend these to anyone that's on a budget.

Very nice sub, great mids and highs, def knocks for being a shallow mount, but doesn't pick up the lows like id like it to, but none-the-less great product rockford fosgate fan all the way, would recommend to anyone.

Sounds awesome!

The shallow mount was an awesome idea for me because I have a small truck. I have it behind my passenger seat on the floor board and it works really well. I recommend this product to people who have small cars or trucks. Despite the fact that it is a shallow mount, it thumps pretty hard!

Rockford Fosgreat !!

I used to have a pioneer premier shallow mount and thought it was great. but i just had this Rockford installed in the same box and it is 3 times as loud i have a 500 watt fosgate punch amp hooked up to it and when you run this baby at one OHM i get 721 rms... that's right RMS not max and it handles all of it. this speaker is what you need when limited on space and want some BASS!!! also i would recommend a ported box that is what i have and if you have a punch am you can run the infrosonic on ported boxes and it makes the speaker handle lower FZs

Wouldn't recommened anything else

I'm really surprised how good these little subwoofers sound! I'm also surprised how little space is needed. I don't even have the right box for them yet and they still hit harder than my old kicker comps with a lot less space! It truly is amazing how Rockford did it! You do have to break them in for a little while, but when you do. WATCH OUT!!! It's insane how hard they hit!!!!
