Sweet Speaks!
I replaced the OEMs in the doors of my 03 Tundra and was very pleased with the difference.
I am only driving these with my Sony (always excellent signal to noise ratio!) media head unit but they put out plenty of sweet and clean vibes!

Pertty good speakers. They distort at high volume but have a decent sound at mid range. Worth the price!

Installed in a Hyundai Accent 2010 4 Door sedan.
Installation was quite easy in general fitted in OEM 6.5" speaker bracket, just had to create a hole that wasn't there since the bolt pattern isn't the same which is not a big deal.
High and med are great, a little too much of high actually, would have hope for a little more bass.
Also i would have wish to have more option to install the tweeter in place the little stopper that came with it is almost useless, used the stopped + nail glue to stick it in place correctly.

I purchased two pairs to replace the stock OEM speakers in my 2002 Corolla S. I was blown away by the sound, excellent highs and good mids. I have a sub so I can't say much about the bass they produce. I have these powered by an Rockford R400-4D amp so they are getting at least 65 RMS each. No distortion or hiccups at any volume. Great great speakers for the price.

These Arnt super super loud mind blasters but it is Rockford fosgate quality while saving a few bucks. They are perfect unless your trying to turn it up where you can't here your self think. Then you may be slightly dissappointed but I would deff buy again!

The price in the stereo shop was $200 a pair, I paid only $130 for two pairs here. You can't beat that. I have a Prime Rockford Fosgate 4channel amp running it and it sounds great.

These are very clean door speakers and get pretty loud, I mean they are not the best out there but for the money they would beat everybody in its class, I bought then and installed them in my buddy's truck and they play really nice highs, I would recommend you buy a subwoofer though to complement the sound because, in the 6.5's, the mids are not ground pounding lows but all in all very good clean door speakers

I have had these in the front doors of my 01 Silverado for several months and they sound great! I had them running off the stock radio and they were decent sounding for a stock radio. Then, i installed a Pioneer head unit and a KTP-445 Power Pack Amp behind the dash to give them 45rms each and they sound amazing! Dont think that Rockford's lowest line of speakers is junk, they are no joke.

Hard to beat for the money and a component set at that! No crossover but you dont really need it as long as you dont overpower them.

Good speakers for a great price. The highs are crisp and clear but needs more power than a factory deck can provide to produce decent bass.

When I got these speakers in March for my 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid, they were to replace my cheap pioneers. They were running off the stock radio. They were decent in sound, kind of muddy in the midrage. The seemed durable, but I was iffy about them not having a visible crossover. It was built into the tweeter i guess...
Fast forward to now. I got hem hooked up to a RF prime amp the 250watt one, got a new Kenwood Excelon Deck and the tweeters seem to crackle, i notice more power from the speakers, but the mid bass is still muddy, and not only that, they seem to bottom out on some bassy songs when you turn the volume up even when I have the amp on HP with a cut off around 60-80hz, No boosting, everything flat. So, i'm gonna swap these out to something else that can handle bass better and not have crackling in my tweeters. All was installed by professionals with 30 years experience.

Considering this was their "prime" series I was actually surprised. I'm running about 1200 watts to my subs and I needed some good speakers to keep up with that. These sound very clear and at high volume the treble makes my ears hurt. Not bad at all for a pair of 68 dollar prime series door speakers. They're very well made and match nicely with the rms my 5 channel puts out. All in all these are very good door speakers. I don't have my 5 channel putting a lot of bass through these because my subs handle that but as far as clarity and treble is concerned, they sound great and worth the 68 dollar price tag.

These speakers are typical Rockford quality - clean high end and decent midbass. You shouldn't be expecting any significant deep bass from a budget-priced speaker or any 6.5 speakers mounted in a door for that matter. I'm using a 10" sub crossed at 200 Hz so I'm only interested in decent mid-range and highs anyway. My only complaint is the use of a simple capacitor glued into the back of the tweeter instead of a decent cap/coil crossover, which you will find in almost every other speaker, even in this price range. And, the quality of the wire included is embarrassing. It's got to be in the 22-26 awg range - super thin. You can use your own 16-18 ga wire but the tweeters are pre-wired so you'd have to get out the soldering gun to remove them. It would probably cost another 10-20 cents to include decent wire and for a $70 set of speakers, why Rockford insults the buyer with the included wire is a mystery. However, they're darn good speakers and I have no regrets with my purchase.

Highs and mids are very clear. Lacking on low end but its great for the value.
No seperate crossover to mount which simplified wiring and mounting.
