Great components.

I'm using these in my 04 Tahoe, front and rear doors. They get extremely loud for the money and have pretty good midbass as well. I'd recommend them for sure!

Great Mid-Price Value

I just put these on my old Pioneer 4 x 45 head unit and they really sound great. Not sure about a higher end system, but if you are just looking for great tunes, these will do you right.

awesomeness in a little black box

I greatly recommend these speakers i bought these Fosgates being sketchy about them but they lived up to my expectations. I purchased them from Sonic Electronix under a bid offer which was a great deal. I replaced some old mb quartz out for these bad boys and the highs were much more crisper and mids were better than I expected. I have them being powered by a 800w Soundstream along with some pioneer 6x9 4 ways alone with out the woofer they give enough bass.

Excellent sounds using a quality deck!!

I paired these up with a JVC XR810 head unit using NO amp. You don't need an amp using these speakers and a good quality head unit. Mine is rated at 20 watts RMS and 50 watts max. They sound very clear, much better than coaxial speakers! They are very loud using just the deck. Excellent highs with nice mids. Im very impressed with the quality in construction and sound. Trust me when I say get these!

Good, Affordable Sound

These are good speakers. I installed them in my single cab truck, so it filled the small space really well. I wish the mid ranges were a bit stronger, but the tweeters were great. Combine these with some 6x9's behind the seats and it would have been perfect. They look plain, which is both good and bad (depending on what your taste is)....I did have to modify the metal door frame to fit the speakers, (I guess since these are technically "oversized" 6 1/2"'s I should have expected it). Besides that, the installation was smooth and I never had any problems with them after installation. The built in crossovers also helped, since I didn't have to buy external ones.

OK Speakers

I bought these to put into a vehicle I was selling. They sounded ok. These were ran off of a basic head unit and paired up with some 4x6's in the rear. I'm sure they would sound better with a complete system with a sub and ran off of a good amp.

Enjoy them while they last.

I have had these speakers for just over a year and already I'm looking for replacements.... the tweets are still going strong though

I purchased these for my Toyota Sequoia to replace the factory. Sounds much better than the factory even with just the factory head-unit. Can't beat the sound for the price from these guys!

Very pleased

I bought these for my dads work van and we were both very pleased. The only bad part was that my dad isn't that technologically smart so he had to call me for some help to hook them up, besides that they're perfect.

Shipping directly to PR was also a nice plus!

Best Bang For Your Buck!

Being on a budget, and a Fosgate fan, I opted to purchase these speakers. I was a little leery of the product line, but I was proved wrong. The sound is crystal clear and loud. I would recommend these speakers to anyone who has the room and is on a budget.

Perfect Speakers

I put these in my 1998 accord along with a 4-channel amp. It sounds great been using for 5 months and no problems.

Best Bang for buck with Great Sound Stage

I purchased the JVC KD-R610 Radio along with this complete Rockford Fosgate Prime R1652-S Component Speaker’s System for the front of my car and matching Rockford Fosgate Prime R1693 Full Range 3 Way Speaker’s for the rear. And the sound was a dynamic difference and amazing compared to the original sound stage. I can actually thank the sales man at Sonic for recommending the Rockford Fosgate Prime complete front & rear sound and didn't pay much at all for both sets. This is not only the best bang for buck but I can seriously say I am completely satisfied.

These are great speakers and tweeters. I had them in my old truck that I sold and I'm going to buy more to go in my new truck.
