Rockford Fosgate Power T1650

Honestly... it's been years since I've done a small setup. Had Brand New Rockford Fosgate T1652-s components in storage for 10 years. My girlfriend wanted CarPlay setup in her 2007 MDX and I wanted to give her a Christmas present that was worth it. Order a set of T1650 coaxials, got the NVX speaker baffles, some dynamat and wired the system up to a brand amp that I won't disclose. I don't believe in bad mouthing one company to make another sound better. It didn't sound right. I never bought a ca budget amp before. Couldn't give up in turn I wound up buying a Rockford Fosgate TM400X4ad to replace the amp and what a world in a difference. The speakers came alive. The clarity was on point. Nice crisp sound. Perfect upgrade. Tight midbass with the crossovers on the radio set at 120hz for both the components and the coaxial in the rear. Nice clean mids and highs with big boom from the custom box with a 8" subwoofer sounding like a 15". DON'T go cheap with amps. Power is everything. You can make almost anything sound good with the right amp.

Great upgrade for my car

Theyre really loud and clear. I was blown away by how much louder they were compared to my stock speakers. The midbass is nice too. I would definitely recommend this set
