Thunder

Sounds great it's almost a little too much. I have it paired with an Audiobahn. This thing out performs anything I've ever heard. High Quality sound, not too bad on price. Be sure to understand it does require I think an 11" or 11.5" diameter opening. You may need to do some cutting on your box. Otherwise highly recommended. You won't regret spending a little more.

Holy bass!

This subwoofer is absolutely incredible! The bass is so clean and loud all without missing a beat, it puts out an insane amount of air. It also comes with security screws and a special drill bit to make sure not just anyone can remove it along with its own grille which was a nice bonus. I expect to be using this subwoofer for a long while. The only minor problem that I encountered was that the basket of this subwoofer had a little bit larger ridges so I had to modify my box a little bit but not a big problem for this absolute beast of a subwoofer!

Great Sub

Heard one of these playing it sound quite wonderful the bass is clear and solid and sounds different to other subs. Talk about built it's the best and my most loved feature is the copper heatsink within to draw heat away from the huge voice coil so you can play longer and cooler unlike other brands

Awesome subs!!!

I've had to of these powered by a RF P1000.1 for over 4 years now and they're still slamming, once they break in they are beastly. I pulled everything from my truck to get it painted and I'm upgrading to a RF T2500.1bdcp, 2 T2D412's and a RFC10HB and can't wait to install them. Also having to do some additional power upgrades as well but thanks to Sonic Electronix for having everything I need.

Awesome Sub

I have one right now at 4ohms running on brutus brz 1700.1 @ 600 watts and this thing pounds really loud and very deep bass my box is 1.75 l ported, im planning to get another one and bring it down to 2ohm to get 1200 watts on the BRZ. i was debating in getting the 2ohm load to get to 1ohm at 1700watts but it might damage the Sub but 1200 for 2 sub should be more than adequate.

Great Sub

I have two of these in a ported max flow box built to specs ran by an alpine 2 channel 2000 watt amp with a 0 gauge power lead and a 4 gauge lead going to each terminal. They sound better than any other subs that i have had and all my friends love them. The bass is very accurate and has a very solid kick to it. You can even run more than the recommended max power to it if you know what your doing.

BUY THESE SUBWOOFERS

So i have two of these now just got them from this site. sonicelectronix.com with a 3.4 cubic feet box, and these just hit so hard on every tone so clean like nothing! i have them wired to 1 ohm and a 1000.1bd rockford fosgate amp (underrated amp) really is 1414 rms amp and i have it turned up just over half way and it will hurt your ears if you want power and some really clean bass get these.
i had 4 rockford fosgate p3 subwoofers and just 2 beat all 4 of them!!

its insane if you dont get these subs your insane!

(p..s) make sure you have a extra battery and good alternator your lights will dim to power these sub's

I got the amp on 4 AWG power and ground and the sub on 10 AWG. beore that i had 2 CVR 12s on a memphis 1100 and this one 12 puts both to shame, nothiong compares to it!!! for just one 12 it sounds like you have 3. best sub i have ever had!!!

awsome deal

i bought 2 12's for a 2000 blazer. i am running a fosgate t1001bd amp to them and when they were installed it pounded my car so well i needed two layers of dynamat to quiet the rattle. i recommend these speakers to anyone.

Breathtaking

I have two of these 12s in a ported box i built, 4 cubes after displacement tuned to 33hz on 1000w RMS.. I need to say no more. When you sit in my car, you can sit and watch your clothes and hair move while it feels like your eardrums are about to cave in. My windows all flex, bumpers flex, even made the antenna on my car fall off going down the road. I can pull up behind somebody and watch their license plate rattle with my bass line. Not to mention they sound great while doing it.. even in a big ported box they still play accurate and punchy on fast bass notes, even keep up with fast double bass drums.

If anybody is considering these, dont think twice. you wont regret it. Also remember you get what you pay for

Very impressed.

I just recently bought two of these, a T1500-1bdcp amp and put them in a dual 12 slotted box tuned to 36hz with 1.80 cu. ft. of volume per chamber and let me tell you they slam pretty d*** hard and I am only running them at 4ohms. Wasn't sure what to expect but I am definitely impressed and would recommend them to anyone.

T1D412 Review!!!

The Rockford Fosgate T1D412's are beyond the BEST "BANG FOR YOUR BUCK" when it comes to speakers!! These bad boys will rock any car or truck in just about any box! At roughly 30lbs., they are fairly light weight and the conservatively rated 800 watts RMS is nothing compared to what this speaker can actually handle! Each speaker can easily handle up to 20% more than it's actual rated power!! I was running 2 T1D212's with 2 t1000-1BDCP's and THEY BUMPED!!! The speakers were in a custom built down-firing vented wedge box made my myself specifically designed to fit in the back of a 99 Ford Ranger XLT extended cab with the jumper doors. With this box, you were actually able to have the seats all the way back, and leaned back quite a ways while still having super loud, clean, and deep bass!

Pros of the T1D412
*Light weight/versatile
*Conservatively rated at 800rms
*'Vast' cone design allows for more surface area of the woofer thus increasing SPL
*SWIFT terminals allowing for almost instant changing of the impedance (ohms) on the woofer without the hassle of guessing!
*Super strong heat sinks are built around the voice coil for superior cooling power!
*Aluminum Anodized and laser engraved dust cap make these speakers look like gods compared to other previous models
*New awesome looking Rockford rubberized grill to cover your pretty speakers!

Cons of the T1D412
*They give you the grills on these speakers for a reason. The aluminum dust cap is fairly easy to bend or dent. I did so just by knocking on it to see what it sounded like in the box.
*If your tight on money, not the most budget friendly.
*The rubber feet on the bottom fall off. But who needs them anyhow? They're only there if you set the speaker down on a hard surface, and they'll be in the sub box!
*The speakers are just bigger than any 12" sub box hole I've tried to put them in. You'll most likely end up taking a dremel or a router the the hole before installing.

Overall, my experience with these subs has been awesome. I absolutely couldn't be happier!!!

Amazing

These subwoofers by Rockford Fosgate are amazing! I have two of these on a Rockford Rosgate T1500-1bdCP and they hit HARD. The sound quality is amazing, it hits the lows extremely well. They are in my 2000 Dodge Stratus.

bangin subs

I have two of these beasts in a ported box and they slam! I had them in a bandpass ported box and they didn't sound so well! I suggest a big ported box these subs need air! I had 2 pioneer 1000w subs and the Rockfords hit harder hands down! However the pioneers are a great buy also cuz they hit pretty hard also!

Great subs

I have had my t1's for about three years now. They are running at 1ohm on a t1500.1 bdcp. I read here about someone saying the subs smelled when they turned them up, it's normal. It's just excess glue curing all the way and the smell goes away. For these subs, it's part of the break in process. When the gains are tuned properly and everything is set up properly, these subwoofers are AMAZING. I love mine. The only thing I would recommend for anyone purchasing them is to have a larger ported box than is recommended. Mine is tuned to 34hz and it is perfect to my ear.

Exceptional is all I can say!

The best 12" subwoofer I have ever tested ... Talking sealed 1.2 cu.f enclosure and feeding 800rms. Super accurate bass and loud after few hours or breaking in ... and WOW ... It shakes the car like 2 12"s man!

Over rated

I've had this sub for about 4 months now in a vented L port box, the cubic foot is correct and the Box is built to rockford fosgate specs, I installed the sub and it sounded great running on a thousand watt amp I wore the sub in easy and now when I try to crank it just a little bit the dang thing starts to smell up the truck! Defiantly an overrated waste of money, I was running one 10 in pioneer in the same type box on the same exact amp and never had any problems with it overheating. The RF T1 sounds amazing but you cant even enjoy the quality sound for a whole song!
