Sleek Power!!!

I bought this because of RF's reputation for outstanding amps and I am more than satisfied with this product. Birth sheet says 691 at 1ohm at 20Hz. This amp is not only powerful, it looks amazing also, even if it was trash I'd keep it to show off. RF did it right with this series. I look forward to owning more of their products.

excellent

I coupled this amp with a Fosgate 15" DVC Sub. I am running it at 8 ohms and it is plenty loud and clear. I do recommended this amp, but purchase some kind of external sub control. A lot of the time it is too loud for normal listening, so I bought a Fosgate Sub Control. My only problem with this amp is that it is no longer made in the USA (as of the first of the year). That was the reason I went with all Fosgate equipment. All and all it sounds and works great, I just like supporting the USA.

loud and small

when i first got it i was like WTF cuz it was so small but i finally got it hooked up to my 2 P3 12 4 ohms and i bought this amp because it said it can do 500 @ 1 ohm so i was exited until the place i took it to get it installed said amps fry when there wired to one ohm so i believed em until i heard it on 4 ohms and it truly wasnt as impressive as i would expect.. but when i studied up on RoFo.com i learned the amp was fine for one ohm so in the end it bumps hard at one ohm and i still havent felt it get warm even after ear busting bass for like an hour this amp is intense and it does the job of an amp twice its size.

wow

Another great product from RF. I am using it on a 12" RF shallow sub. Output is amazing given the sub's size. Good clean power.

good deal

This amp is just what i needed to pound on a FR P-3 DVC 12" sub in a sound ordance sealed box. A reinforced box is a must with over 500w rms on one sub. The birth sheet said 535w @ 2ohms. I had to order custom 12gage speaker wire somewhere else. Walmart didn't have anything close to the wire this setup needed. With the gain set halfway up and the remote RF base knob($24)... TONS of power and fun in the Prelude. This setup sounds like most guys I know who are running TWO 12"s. Thanks Sonic!

petit mais costaud

Great amp small size, it can be placed anywhere even in a small box. Set to a minimum to balance the running i already bass that move the rear window .. And yet i have a convertible ca absorbs quite low frequencies. Mine is 521 w rms at 2 ohms! Perfect for my sub jl audio 25cm ... And send fast, what more? Look at the prices in france and you hallucinate compared to SonicElectronix!

Works Great

Wired to 2 10" Alpine Type R'..Hits hard! Great buy...especially at the reduced price because it's the older model... birth sheet is 700 watts at 1ohm, 532 watts at 2 ohms ..
Gotta love Fosgate
Only thing that bugs me is the little plastic knobs are very fragile and one cracked already..

great amp

T500 amp and a RF P3 12' sub. Sweet. Second time I've paired these two together. If you need to run two subs to get this amp warm, just think about getting one bigger sub. Sounds just as good and weighs less. If you want to run more than one RF p3 sub, get the next bigger RF Power amp.

Big Power, Small Package

This is a great amp. Birth sheet for it read 741W RMS at 1 ohm, and as far as I know, all Rockford Power series monoblocks are 1/2 an ohm stable, given the proper tuning. In which case this amp would probably put out about 1500W. I also like the fact that this amp can run all the way down to 9 volts, and all the way up to 16. Most amps just run 12 to 14. This amp also seems to sound better than most others and can hit lower notes better (~30 Hz). I love the way it looks and I like that it has a port for a bass knob, and that it doesn't use on-board fuses, just a fuse on the power wire, which is considerably larger than on-board fuses anyways. I believe it's more powerful that way.

great amp

This amp will do what it says an more, puts great power and stays clean at hi volume. i have it running two ( SSA Dcon 12" subs) 300watts rms each, I kept the amp at 2ohm. i rate the amp 5 of 5 everywhere, but for the features i gave it a 4 my reason is because the amp is not strapable. But if your looking for a good mid power clean sounding durable amp... make the T500-1bd your last stop. PS my birth sheet says 735watts rms @1ohm.

Great little amp

This amp has a relatively small size and pumps out a whopping 508 watts at 2 ohms according to its birth sheet. I've used 2 other brand amps for my current setup and have had problems with both, but with this I'm golden! Definitely worth the extra cash!

Amazing

I have this powering a T0D215 and it blows everyone else out of the water. I have it running at about 30% because it burns my voice coil cuz i bump it too hard:)

RF Amp

The only problem I have with this amp is that i now have to upgrade the rest of my speakers in the car. So they wont get drowned out. It's perfect, not one issue, doesn't heat up much, drives two Orion ten's good and hard.

Great Amp

I have this amp powering 2 rockford fosgate P2s, not the new model, they sound amazing, giving them more than enough power, I bought the bass knob for this amp which more than helps, Played heavy bass music for over two hours and this amp barely got warm, best amp I have every owned, just small enough to fit under my back seat in my explorer, packs a punch.

R.F. T500

I use this amp to power (2) 350RMS 12" subs on one channel (1 ohm) My subs are not the kind you hear a mile away thumping but rather fill my car with amazing quality sound. I am not an experienced audio technician but I can tell you this amp puts out more like 700watts not the named 500. which is perfect for me because my combined RMS is 700. It was a little expensive but you get what you pay for and this amp is NICE. It is on the smaller end but that is because it's the baby of its model. I use this daily. No problems. No heat. Doesn't even kill my battery. Thanks R.F. (don't get no fingerprints on the shiny surface i'll kill ya)

Power

Excellent amplifier. My first RF amplifier and I have to say its probably the best amplifier Iv ever owned.

The most powerful amplifier I owned before this was a HiFonics Brutus that was rated to do 1200wrms at 1 ohm. That amp eventually blew. To be honest, this amplifier is much more powerful than the HiFonics.

I have this amplifier running on some pretty small power wire on a 25A fuse and it still pumps out more power than the HiFonics did.

My birthsheet for it read:

282wrms at 4 ohms
480wrms at 2 ohms
741wrms at 1 ohm at 80hz

Powering a Stage 1 Punch right now, but it will push my Premier 3000SPL pretty hard. And that is rated to handle 1kwrms.

Nice set up

I have this beast hooked up to a RF P3D412 and it sounds AWESOME! The birthsheet read 700 watts at 1ohm and I only have it turned up a 1/4 of the way! The T series amps are one of a kind and RF continues to do an excellent job with their products!

Amazing amp for it's size

When I first looked at this amp out of the box I was like wow this thing is small, is it gonna give enough power to my subs?? I didn't believe that it could do 500rms at 1 ohm when I first saw it but after I hooked it up, WOW this thing is a beast. I have it hooked up to 2 kicker 12" compVR subs which could still use about 800w more power but still this amp makes my subs pound its a really good product and I'm going to be buying the t400-4 power series to hook up to my speakers. Well worth the buy.

love the thump

I have always been a fan of Rockford Fosgate and they have not let me down. I bought this to power a P3 12 and it pounds it with only 400 w. I will be getting another P3 12 to get the full 675 RMS out of it. Remember Rockford goes by RMS and not watts.

500bd

This amp is small in physical size but packs a big hit. I have this amp hooked to 2 punch p3's and it pushes them to the limit. Want an amp that does not draw an awful amount of current and packs a massive punch....This is the way to go
