Big Time Budget Bass
Found this amp for sale locally for $75 in Early 2013 (no birthsheet :() and jumped on the deal. Have 4 awg KnuKonceptz power/ground wiring, Pioneer P5100 H/U, Big 3 in 1/0 awg, High(er) output alternator. I was previously running a Power 551s to my Punch P3D212 @ 4 ohms with gains set by SonicElectronix method with DMM. When I hooked up this amp to my sub, I changed my sub wiring to 1 ohm and set the gains all the way down because I read online that this amp was capable of 800+ watts. When I had everything ready and turned on my system, OH MY GAWD!!!! This amp was pushing my P3 like nothing I have ever heard in my 1989 civic with the gains DOWN! I have never turned the gains up since, since I fear for my P3. Even on 90-100 degree summer days, this amp has never gotten hot or cut out or given me ANY problems whatsoever. This is not your regular 500 watt amplifier and if you have the chance, GRAB IT! Now to find a Fosgate T4004 to match...
