cheap price cheap product

Yeah i know Rockford Fosgate is an excellent brand name in car audio but this subs doesnt really sound great at all. go with some cheap pheonix gold or audiobahns. maybe more dough, but you get way more sound and higher quality.

Great Subs

Had one of these wired to a sony amp just so i could have a little more bass in my car for a budget. i was very surprised that the one little sub in a bandpass box made my car bump more than i expected. very good sound with little distoration. unfortunatly my amp blew out but thats what you get for buying sony amps from walmart.

Great pound for less

A guy I work with has two of these in small sealed box bein pushed by the Volfenhag 2000 watt amp featured on this site... I was really surprised at what these could do... I tried RF a while back and I didn't like em... I may give them another chance now...

this is a good sub for the price, but it does distort i would recommend spending a little more cash for something better.

crazy

a friend has 2 of these subs with an infinity amp, and it pounds. bass is really tight and low. this is a great buy for the price. if i had room in my truck i would get these subwoofers.

Great Subs

Wire these subs to a P4002 bridged and these babys rock. bounce anything. i get looks from everyone, and got a ticket for disturbing the peace...lol

Not Good

I have one of these subs in a custom built box i built with the exact spects and airspace Rockford recommends, and it still sounds bad. These subs arent loud at all and cant handle a lot of watts. You are better off spending a little more money and getting the stage 2 subwoofers. Those sound a lot better and hit a lot harder.

Wow

Wow im very surprised. these subs thump.i have them in my bedroom in three way sony sealed speaker boxes, runnin through a 2 channel gemini amp at 600 watts per channel at 4 ohms.they have very high excursion. i love them.i had infinity reference series 1242 1200 watts dvc and they didn't thump as hard.

Not so good

There are alot better subs out there that are cheaper and better sounding than this...They dont sound as clear as say an RFHE2 would, and they are more expensive. It's not any better than some of the cheaper subs, your'e just paying for the new look. Ive heard these subs in numerous places, but ive heard cheaper sound better. Go with a RFHE2, theyre really good subs.
