Exceeded expectations!

I purchased 2 of these in a sealed box on a 400 rms Kicker 4ch amp. These subs hit hard, deep, and accurate. Would def recommend and buy again. Quality sub.

Great Subs

I have 4 of the p1's wired down to 1 ohm on a kole 7000 class-d amp and all i can say is wow.

Great Sub

Even though this is only a 250 watt sub. If you hook up two of these, then you'll have a pretty good amount of bass. I defiantly wouldn't run these over 300 watts of constant power. Very good sound quality excellent. And my favorite part is that this sub isn't to particular with the size of the enclosure. As long as it's pretty close to what it's supposed to be. Unlike Alpine type r's where the box has to be perfect for the sub otherwise you wont get the best performance you can.

I have one of these in a ported box running off a p300-1, i have the 4ohm woofer. To start off with do not, i repeat do not over power this woofer it will fry it instantly. Hooked a t1000-1bd and it lasted 15 min. The woofer would get extremely hot just on the p300, and would distort after a good hard 20 min of playing, the woofer has great mid and low bass but the deep stuff is just out of its league. I know what your thinking well ya its going to fry on a t1000 but i put a sundown sa10 on it and it played for months.

Good but to better

This sub is great for the money, clean bass in a sealed enclosure, but if you were wanting a good thump with it, upgrade to a p2 or a p3.

Rockford Fosgate 12's..

I put 2 of these speakers under my rear seat in my 04' ford f150 with a ken wood 500watt mono amp...Hits unbelievably hard!!!... i would definitely recommend these speakers!!!

Best subwoofer

These things pound in a sealed enclosure with a little amp, with a big amp they pound with a ported enclosure. I used to own 2 p1s4-10. But then i decidedi needed to upgrade my system. i would highly recomend these if your looking for some hard hittin bass in the trunk.
(P.S.my friends are jealous of these)

Great Sub

This was my first sub woofer I have ever got for my truck and I was very pleased with its performance. I paired it with a kenwood 350watt amp. The sub was way underpowered. It was only getting 150rms. The sub woofer had a fairly good sized magnet considering its only a P1. However it is time to upgrade so i just ordered a Rockford Fosgate T0 2 Ohm 12" sub for Christmas. This product is recommended for beginner system.

These subs see definitely a crowd pleaser! I have two in my trunk and I love watching people's faces light up when they hear them!

I owned 2 of these awhile back and man did these things surprise me! Wayyy better than the old punch line. And its a great price to! Great entry level sub.

P1's Bang!

I had a rockford 550 amp going to these and they were amazing. Given that I would blow them every year. I wanted to go P2's but skipped it and went to L7's. Great sub as long as you got the right power to it. I had too much, so that was my mistake. But compared to any other brands low wattage subs, these are by far the best. I could be wrong because I had to much watts rms going to them but still liked them. Remember when you purchase something and especially beat, you get what you pay for.

I have 2 of these and they sound amazing for only being P1's. They sound way better then most of my friends systems. They're great for the price too. Love them!

Amazing sub

I never have been a fosgate fan until my cvr 12s died on me, my local shop (audio innovations in Covina) hooked me up with 2 and they are purely amazing great response and deep bass

Quality budget subs

If you're on a budget but still want a good product, look no further. These retail for $120. That's how much they are on Rockfords website and at all the audio shops around me. So they really aren't that cheap of a woofer. They sound and look great. I have them hooked up to a Rockford prime R500-1. I'm eventually gunna upgrade to the p3s. The shipping was fast as well.

i had a pair of these in a big ol ported box like 2 cubes each seperated chambers in my old taurus on a punch 300.1 you wouldnt believe how hard these things banged they were loud and hit super hard like king kong man - held up well too!

Sounds great

For 250rms they sound pretty good bass hits nice lacks a little in foot bass but it's getting better the more I play them you just need to break them in the spider on these are stiff. And can handle the rated power easily.

Decent sub for the price.

I have a 12" p1 in my 1989 Ford F250 truck with a regular cab. It's a tight fit to get it behind the seat but I got it and it sounds great.great response time and sound quality for the price. Highly recommend for sound quality on a tight budget.

P1s4 12 can't beat the price

I got a pair of these to replace my old pair of kicker comp 12s and they've exceeded my expectations. Paired with the r500x1d amp they blow the kickers out the water. They're in my explorer in a ported box (1.6 cu ft/chamber). The bass makes my rear view mirror point down but that's one of those good problems. And, as always, great shipping/service from sonicelectronix.

These subs are very nice, and have a clean bass response. For the price, I was not expecting the quality and capability of the subs. I'm running two in parallel @ 2 ohms with a 500 watt RMS Kenwood amp and they are simply outrageous! I have been involved in electronics for over 20 years, and with proper air space in your enclosure, and electronic configuration, you will be amazed.

Love this sub

It took a while to get it set to the levels I wanted but that was due to my amp. I absolutely love the tight and powerful bass this thing produces. I find myself listening to more bass-intensive music than I used to just to hear this thing hit.

I am in Canada and I ended up paying a lot more for the sub due to the terrible exchange rate, but the performance makes me have no regrets at all.

Great Entry Level Subs

I got these for my friend that wanted a budget system, i built a ported box to the reccomend volume tuned to 34 hertz and i hooked them on my jl 500 to test them out before he picked them up and they have great sq actually for entry level, very boomy and nice sounding and they werent even broke in, i played rap and some rock and metal threw them to test their range and i was impressed. When i hooked up his system it made me laugh because you could hear him cruising from a couple blocks away and it would shake the windows on my house alil bit when he drove by and all he had was a cheap hifonics amp. For entry level id say these subs are worth every penny and could probably be priced higher for the quality you get, i own the p3 model myself and you can tell the quality rockford puts in their product's is legit whether its their cheap stuff or higher end stuff.

ridiculous bargain

Rockford fosgate p1s4 sub's , was a ridiculous deal for two which were trending for $135, saw your deal and was thinking it was a mistake or I was reading info wrong. Got them in and they were exactly as stated...can't wait to see more like that, maybe on some rockford fosgate prime 1200 and prime 600x 4 amps....am looking to purchase both, just watching for a great bargain.... Wow!

I waited 4 months after I got my vehicle to purchase this woofer (broke guy problems) and I paired it with the Belva 1.5 cu ft sealed 12" enclosure lined with polyfill. This sub rocks! Coming from an alpine 10" with the same rates power, this woofer is a night and day difference and it's not even broken in yet. Rockford customer for life! Next upgrade is the P3 ;)
