Been using this speaker for months now and have been working pretty good and they are hooked to an amp so the sound good so far.

good speakers, not too much bass

I got these hoping they wouldn't be too bassy. And they are not. I think lots of companies like to impress you with the heavy bass response but it is not a good reproduction of the music...if the artist wanted it to have booming bass over everything, they would have recorded it that way, I think. So, these are good accurate speakers at a low price.

The best you can buy for the price. I wouldn't pick any other.

Great sound quality, the treble is very clear. Recommend these if your putting a system in your vehicle! Great price too.

I bought these a replacement for my stock speakers. WOW what an improvement. Easy as heck to install and sound 10 times better than the originals originals !

Great Specs available to consider the purchase

Unlike most of the speakers on the market in this size, these speakers provided very accurate size information on line, which allowed me to make a template to trial fit before I purchased them. The car in which I was installing them (a 1965 Jaguar) had a very non-standard opening which I didn't want to enlarge.

Now having them installed I am happy with them. The car doesn't really provide optimum speaker placement for great sound, so no speaker is going to sound brilliant in this car, but overall I am happy with them.

I didn't use the grills that come with them, I purchased much flatter grills that fit in better with the ar.

I paired them up with the Retrosound model one radio.

Didn't fit my speaker spaces like they said they would so installation took way longer than it should have but the clear and crisp sound that comes out of them was well worth the wait !

Awesome product, price and performance

I bought two sets for front and back. Using two Rockford amps - t400-4 and t400-2 with MM1040MM Polk Audio sub. My Eclipse AVN726E has never sounded better. I had this Eclipse in a Porsche Cayenne using the factory bose setup and is sounded pretty good. But not like it does now in my Tacoma.

i got to say i love them look good
sound good nice lil mid bass

but the only thing is thay do not fit in my door like the stock one did

great speakers

I have no qualms whatsoever with these speakers. They sound crisp and clean even though I'm running them with my stock head unit. Rockford Fosgate makes a great product, there is no doubt about that.
