The Old Punch 2...

I own this 12" Fosgate, And I Love It...A Word Of Warning Though, If you want Boomy Bass, Buy A Big Ported Box. I Bough A Sealed One And It does Fine For 90% OF The Soft Rock I Listen To.....But Now I Will Probably Invest In A Bigger Ported Box.

I love rockford

I have had my subwoofer for one year and am happy with. I have it with kiker impulse of 125 rms and them story that the plant does not take advantage of all the power of my subwoofer.

Great subs for the price

Having only a single voice coil- these subs kick alot of butt. I have 2 rockford P2 12inch subs in a standard sealed box, hooked up on a P5002 punch amp, 2 channel mono, and these babies pound hard- great entry level system and/or subs for people who dont need bass that can break a window, but who still like something that pounds, these also sound great in the sound quality department- just make sure to push them to the full power ratings if you want some good bass for the buck.

Good sub, minor design flaw

This was my first sub. I put it in a Q-Logic box and powered it with an Infinity Reference with 222 watts going to it. This sub decimated all whether or not they were in the passenger seat or in the Zaxby's drive-thru. The biggest problem was a design flaw in the wiring inlets. As the sub hit the wire running from the inlet into the cone rubbed against 2 metal guards that were designed to keep the wire in place. Instead the wiring, which lasted a year, snapped and eventually soldering could no longer fix it. I advise bending the metal guards back before installation to prevent this problem from occuring.

Great sub

Great sub, nice price. Plastic makes a weird sound at really low bass drops, but minor issue. Especially if sub is in trunk. Friend had one in hatchback Saab, sounded great, real low bass caused a minor issue, but sub is very responsive and never distorts unless it's overpowered. Highly recommend, great sub for the $.

Wagon PIMPIN!

I had 2 of these in a 1993 Escort Staion Wagon and they sounded b-e-a-u-tiful. All the girls used to think i stuck vibrators in the back seat cause of all the power. These are great subs especially if you get them in the package deal from Fosgate

Rockford Fosgate Punch HE2 DVC

Great Product Rockford never lets me down. Great sound, no distortion, cant blow it. The dual voice coil difference is a MUST!

ok for beginers

Heard them at b*** b** and in my buddys acura. Ok a little buzzy they leak air and if you put to much power to them they will pop and leak air.

the new punch stage 2 subs from fosgate are the lodest stage 2's i have heard yet. the best thing you can do is a ported box and a visonik V217sx amp running peak power. the things are LOUD!!!

i am running two of these!

i am running two of these subs out of a MTX box and with a Phoenix Gold Xenon X400.1 its a great sub in my mind. they raddle windows and set off car alarms i love it great pirce for the amount these put out 200 rms well what can i say its low but man they do punch like a 400 or 500 it depends on how you run your amp but great sub get them if you read this !

I bought these subs knowing a was getting a good deal, and thats a understatement. This is one of the best deals i've ever got and they sound awesome too, I would tell anyone to buy these subs, and at the price it just can't be beat!!

Punch Review

Got 3 of these set up in a box and the pounding is out of controll. My Dual Subs are ok but these things are insane. Way louder and hard to blow.
