Nice package, quality wire but could more end connectors for the larger wire.

Good product

It's exactly what you need for your car amp installation. I bought this kit with Kenwood KAC-1502S amp for 75 bucks. Good deal from Sonic Electronix.

Great kit for the cost

Very nice kit for $18.
Wire seems adequately thick. Good quality fuse (not AGU) and fuse holder. RCA's feel durable. Decent assortment of accessories. All together a solid budget kit IMO.

Don't know what the other guy is talking about.

This kit was awesome and included with my package that I bought. In comparison to others for the same price, there is simply not a comparison and the other review is just wrong on so many levels I felt compelled to write this.

The reality is there are a lot of real shoddy amp kits and wire as a whole being used in car audio in terms of cheap amp kits that have over-insulating wires and fake gauge ratings, huge amounts of aluminum, lousy RCA cables, fuse holders and other accessories. BUT and a BIG BUT, this kit excels in those areas where others fall flat on their face. I have bought a few inexpensive 8 gauge kits in my day and XScorpion, Raptor, Install Bay and others haven't even given me the 8 gauge of wire that I paid for, and in some cases gave me wire that heated up to a dangerous level due to the actual make up of the wire.

I also literally laughed when I see that the other reviewer was intending to use spade terminals to connect his amp power and ground wire... It is for the SPEAKER wire knucklehead :-). I am an installer and the smaller accessories work just fine when you use them correctly. Most amps will still work with them when used with the speaker wire. Of course one can be used for the remote wire connection to the amp and the other end with the butt connector being used to connect to the stereo. The funny thing is, if you do not need them, who cares? It is like ordering this kit for a compact car or single cab pickup. You will not use all of the power wire for these applications, so do you complain that the manufacturer gave you extra wire? That just made me laugh.

Now, onto the other accessories. The AFS fuse and holder that are included are so far superior to others in this price range and the amount of copper (albeit CCA) is much better than others in the price range. Lastly, the RCAs included are awesome for the price. I cannot find ANYTHING to complain about here for $21.99.

All in all, you will not get a better value for the money.

Good product for the price

Good wiring package, good quality fuse holder and wires, I would like more connectors on it and maybe some tube for the power wire, but overall is a good kit.

Good Purchase

I used this kit to install a 2 channel Boss amp. The quality of the pieces in this kit is five stars, but I'm giving it 4 because it is my belief that to do a clean install you need (4) 8 gauge terminals (one at the batt, one at the amp, one at ground, one at the amp), not just two. I had to spend an extra six bucks at Orchard for the extra terminals, but since the cost of the kit here at Sonic was only $20 at the time, it was still a good deal.

Good kit

Good kit for basic setups. Using it right now in my mothers system powering a simple 12. Could handle more if needed.

Pros: Handles power, Wires are HQ, More copper than rubber, Wires are good length, Fuse is HQ, Comes with lots of ties and rubbers.

I would recommend this kit to anyone who has a simple system. All around good kit.

This is the first thing I've bought from Sonic Electronix, I'm not bull s***ting when I say this got to my house literally 2 days after I ordered it. I thought that was bulls*** when I saw it written on their website.

Anyways, the sub sounds amazing, im using it as a temporary setup in my mazda 3 until I can afford a larger sub with a big ported box.

The only thing I don't like is the Box is way too small, and the subwoofer has trouble producing bass below 35 hertz.

Good quality bass for price

Easy to install, takes very little space. I installed in 2010 audi a4 with audi concert system. Spliced into factory sub in rear. Disconnected factory sub using connector to get pure signal to fosgate. Sounds great! Wish I had gotten 12 in for deeper bass.

Rockford Fosgate P300 Powered Subwoofer

Installed behind the seat in my regular cab Chevy C1500 pickup. It definitely rattle the cab. Had it hooked up by a pro. Go for the 8 gauge power wire to ensure you get all the power you need. Super price - beat a well-known national competitor by over 30%.
Pros: This sub rocks! Easy to dial in desired crossover point. Definitely moves a lot of air.
Cons: This baby is heavy, which means it doesn't move around much (wait, that's a good thing!)

Great for jeeps/trucks

Bought this product bout month ago, sounds great. Easy to set up and fits in back of my '06 jeep TJ has plenty of thump for music I listen to (Volbeat, Pennywise, Beastie Boys, House of Pain and so on). I'd recommend buying.

Homerun for Fostgate

I own a 2001 F150 supercrew and recently decided to upgrade the entire sound system. I replaced the factory speakers with some Polks and installed an Alpine head unit and while it was a huge improvement it left me wanting to add a sub to round out the sound. I wanted something small with a good clean punch that I could feel but didn't want my truck to sound like a 16 year old in a civic with rattling bass that can be heard for miles. This powered sub had great reviews and seemed like it would be perfect for me and it absolutely delivered. I went with rockford fosgate because I install custom accessories on ATVs and have always been a fan of their products and they didn't let me down. I wired mine into the rear speakers which was extremely easy and had this unit neatly installed in about 45 minutes. It fit nicely behind the passengers seat and I used the included velcro to secure it in place and so far it hasn't moved after about a week of driving. Once I got the gain and crossover adjusted this thing really surprised me. The bass is nice and clean with good low range. My gain is only about half way up and the bass boost is turned all the way down and this sub will still rattle your chest and shake the mirrors if you want it to. I listen to mostly older rock like Zeppelin or Sabbath with a little country mixed in and this sub is perfect for that. It hits hard and sounds like there's a kick drum and bass guitar playing behind me. The best feature for me is the remote. MP3s aren't very consistent when it comes to sound quality and the remote is very handy for adding or lowering bass levels to match each song without having to mess with the sub at all. Also love the fact that you have multiple options for power supply and audio in-puts. If you're looking to add some good clean bass to you're current setup and give your favorite tunes a punch that you can feel then look no further. This is absolutely all the bass you need for music enjoyment. If you don't care about music quality and just want to blow windows out of houses, set off car alarms from a mile away, and rattle your vehicle until the doors fall off then this is not the sub you want. Overall very pleased with the sound and quality of this sub. For the price there's really nothing to complain about. Rockford Fosgate got it right.

AMAZING

Amazing product. When I went to get it installed, the installer was praising how easy it was to connect to my vehicle. Not only was it easy to connect; but the design and shape fit perfectly into my trunk. The sound quality is sharp and the bass isn't too overpowering if you don't want it to be - due to the included remote. Very clean and accurate sound perfect for experienced or new bass owners. Sonicelectronix also did a superb job delivering within the estimated shipping time, so I was able to enjoy my product shortly after I ordered it.

Excellent sub for the price!!

Purchased the P300-10 for 2012 Camaro LS with the base stereo. It was seriously lacking any low enter. Purchased this sub and couldn't be happier.
The install was super easy. Pos to battery, neg to a bolt. Used speaker level inputs. I tapped into the rear speaker... easy. I did not need a separate turn on wire, as the sub turns on when an incoming audio signal is detected, and off when no audio signal.

No line output converter is needed. Just connect the pos/neg from the sub to the pos/neg of your rear speakers. I just used a t-tap so I didn't even cut the wire.

The sound is very good, and I can easily make the rear view mirror shake. Glad I made the purchase. It gives the stock stereo that missing low end punch that was missing without spending all that much.

This wiring kit is very good quality. Although this was my first subwoofer install, I consider myself an expert when it come any kind of stereo hookup. This kit comes with everything you will need for a professional install. I installed a MTX self contained in the rear of my 1999 Explorer Sport. This kit made eazy.

Exactly what you need

Comes with everything you need, literally. Ring terminals are good quality, insulation is very good quality on the wires, fuse is good quality, currently connected 2x 600 watt Pioneer 6x9 speakers to a 450 watt amp (250RMS) with this wiring kit. Plenty of length to get from the battery to the back of my car. For 21$ this is a steal! Does its job, does it well. Highly recommend this, you won't beat this price for everything you get.

get's the job done

This amp wiring kit did the job. Fortunately there was just enough wire to make it from the trunk to the battery in our honda civic sedan. A larger vehicle may have been a problem. The kit came with almost everything I need to install a self powered subwoofer/ amp.

Cheap - And it is

The wire is fine, the RCA cables are fine, but the terminals they give you are worthless, not enough of the 8GA size for both ends of the wire, and there are a bunch of small ones that werent even needed.

Excellent product for the price

I'm not running a sub or crazy rms wattage. This kit is more than adequate for my set up. 60 watt rms fronts and 80 watt rms rear speakers. The amp is 75watt rms X4. I would definitely buy this kit again for any similar set up. Plenty of length for all wires except the ground. If you are mounting the amp to the back of your rear seat and it folds down, make sure the ground is connected as close as possible the seat. Other wise the wire will prevent the seat from going all the way down. Wasn't paying attention to this. Bent the ground terminal on the amp when I folded the seat down and it hung up on the ground wire.

This wiring kit was included for free with my Kenwood KAC-1502S amp that I use bridged to drive my Pioneer TS-SWX251 sub. It is a decent kit. The speaker/power wires are copper-coated aluminum which is just so-so. But it does include everything I needed to wire up my amp (fuse kit, zip ties, wire terminals, etc) and it works totally fine and I doubt I'll ever have a problem with it. So while theorhetically the wires could be higher quality, practically speaking I doubt I could ever tell.

Great wires a pain to cut

The length of all the wires was perfect for my VW gti to set up an amp. However they are a pain to cute and strip. The rubber coating is very stretchy. But they work great. I do recommend these for the price. The connectors for the ground and power wire are crap. They do not like to stay though. Once you get it then they are good.

Good enough

Overall, this is a decent enough kit for an amp install. Fairly run-of-the-mill kit - my main gripe is that some of the prong connectors are incorrectly sized (amp connection for ground and power wire), but all other connectors are good. Zip-ties are garbage, but that's pretty much expected as well.

Pretty basic kit, I would recommend it but based on my application I needed some larger capacity connectors than what were provided.

This kit seemed to me to be a good value kit. I felt that the connectors and one of the cables was of a cheaper grade than what I would prefer. But I feel that it was priced accordingly. The product met my needs, except for me using a better quality crimp-on connectors.

Nice Sub

Sounds very nice, has good power and volume for a small un-ported box. It takes up very little space and can be removed very quickly because of the quick release plugs which is nice if you quickly want your full trunk space back.

I ordered this expecting it to just fill in the lows that my friends stock stereo was missing...and I got a lot more! this is an amazing unit. It hits hard clean and loud, supprisingly so for such a small package. Built in amp packs a punch and supplies ample clean power. Amazing sound from a small box

The bass produced by this box (when adjusted properly) is outstanding. Not too boomy and not tinny-just right. I have it installed in a regular cab Silverado and it makes driving the truck a pleasure. I'm extremely satisfied with how easy the install was and just how good it sounds. I'd buy this again 10 out of 10 times.

I would recommend the Fossgate P300-10 I PUT THIS IN MY NEW 2014 SCION TC really what a great value and a very incredible sound and so easy to install no hassles no amplifiers under the seats and when i remove it so easy 3 small plugs and removed but i can't get over the sound qulity very pleased with this product way to go Rockford Fossgate and a super price i have recommended this box to evreyone i will purchase another one for my 1968 Camaro

I have a 2012 Jetta with the Fender audio system which alone is pretty good. Now that i have this all in one in the back it sounds amazing. It's pretty small but has big sound. I love the adjustable nob, it makes it easy to adjust the bass without messing with the radio

Decent kit

This is a decent kit for a budget stereo system. Only one issue though, I was hooking this up in a Ford expedition and wires were too short to put the amp were I wanted it. Will pay more attention to wire length next time.

This kit was included with a MTX package that I ordered. It was as described and is a well made wiring kit. Installation was quite easy and delivers adequate power to my system with proper grounding.

My only complain, I drive a 1997 Buick Park Avenue, and the 17' of cable for the power line wasn't nearly long enough for my installation. As my amplifier is currently mounted in my trunk due to limited options for locating it elsewhere, I had to go to a local electronics store and purchase another length of 8ga wire, an in line fuse block to splice the connection, as well as an additional fuse to ensure the line is properly protected.

For those of you will small cars, or who chose to mount the amplifier somewhere in the cab of the vehicle, this will be more than adequate. For those with larger cars, or luxury vehicles who are mounting their amplifier on the box or in their trunk, be advised you will need more power cable.

Kit has what it says. Most of the wires are of good quality, but the remote wire could have been a tad thicker. It broke every time I tried to attach it to anything. I ended up using some leftover speaker wire to complete the job. Overall though, you can't beat the value.

2nd Kit I have Purchased, Still Can't Find a Better Deal

I had a 500 Watt amp and sub installed in my old car, and sold it with most of the wiring in it for the new owner.
I installed a new 500 watt amp in my new car with a new sub, and bought this same wiring kit as I still could not find a better deal anywhere else.
It's a simple kit, has everything you need, and makes installation of an amp/sub a breeze. Tonnes of wire length, I still have lots leftover thanks to a trunk-mounted battery. My previous car had a battery in the hood, and this kit still have plenty of length.
The RCA's are very nice, and all insulation is great quality especially for the power/ground. Ring terminals are easy to crimp, and were the perfect size for my battery terminals/main grounding junction.

I installed one of these for a customer who came into the shop I work at and I gotta say, I was quiet impressed. The set up produces a very clean and balanced bass over a nice range of of frequencies. Nothing crazy that's gonna rattle your trunk, its just the right amount of bass to be very well heard through out the car but not overwhelming. Seems to be tuned a little higher and sounds great all the way around, I was very impressed. With the amp being built within the box its a great space saver an makes the install much easier and cleaner. Its a excellent price point and a huge bang for your buck. You don't have to be a stereo guru and know about stereos to know your getting a perfect combo. No worry of doubting yourself when picking several different items in a traditional subwoofer set up and hoping the equipment works well together . Amp kit

I have bought different amp kits from other brands and wasn't satisfied with there products because of certain things.1 was price and 2 was the power amp wire where the fuse goes. The plastic part where the amp goes was crap and fell apart over time. I like the sonics amp kit because of both awesome quality wire amp the red power amp wire was awesome quality as well. Great subwoofer

Overall this is a great sounding subwoofer. 300 watts is plenty of power for this 10" sub and can get really loud when tuned properly. Hooking the sub up was very easy and only took me around two hours. This sub won't be a super boomy one because of its size and because it's not ported, but I knew that when buying. The only problem I had with this sub is its unusual shape because it falls over in my trunk too often. The Velcro that it comes with to put on the bottom of it did not really work for me. I had to get creative and use bungee cords to secure it.

installed in the hatchback of 2001 Honda CRV combined with Alpine CDE 153 deck and (4) Polk 6.5 DBs. Door speakers powered by alpine KTP445 amp. Listen to heavy rock, no rap. This sub is great for this situation. Sonic support recommended 10" better than the 12" for rock and songs with double bass. The sound I was able to achieve with this fairly low cost system is amazing. I have the LPF set to about 65 and the punch EQ (eq boost @ 45 hz) set to about 3 o'clock. Remote bass level knob is great and a "must have" after you have used one.

Exactly what I needed

Fit perfect in my new body 2007 Silverado Crew Cab. Exactly what I wanted for my vast music collection. A remote is a must have so I can control the "punch" I want for that day of driving. I had no issue what so ever with install. I kept factory deck so sub is ran with the high ends. I disconnected my rear speakers for the install. ( splicing into them forced the sensitive sub remote active to turn on randomly, 500 mill amps or something) . They make each connector a quick disconnect so for whatever reason you need that can space, pulling two harnesses, and your sub can be removed. I wish I could think of some cons, but I have none. I expected great quality as its a fosgate. I did read a review that since I didn't buy from an authorized dealer (here) Fosgate won't warranty it, but hopefully the sub lasts at least two years. I have the gain on 3 out of 12 and the bass boost on like 4 out of 15. My remote I keep at a quarter turn. And yes that's loud enough for a back massage of bass on the seats and Windows vibrating. So I'm sure I'm not overloading this compact guy and over heating it. Only owned for 2 months. No issues.

Great value

This kit is much nicer than most in its price range. Even though the wire is CCA, it looks to be full 8 gauge. The fuse holder and RCAs look to be of decent quality, and the separate remote wire and extra speaker wire are nice.

Nice sub and box, I went with this sub in my single cab Chevy truck to go behind the passenger seat. The pre amped box saves you the extra room in an already small truck. Box is pretty tough. I really liked the bass knob that came with it. Sub has plenty of thump to it but not so much that it's going to rattle your car apart. Really clean bass, only problem I have with it is that it doesn't fit perfectly behind my seat with the seat all the way back, but hey it wasn't designed specifically for my truck. I adjusted the seat forwa about a notch or too and was good to go.

Okay Audio fans... Great Value for Great Bass! I would buy this Sub again in a heart beat. I've tried 5 sub boxes/tubes over the years and this is best bass for under $200 I've ever heard. Rest assured, No Stock audio system thumps this hard, so it's a great addition.
1) It's sufficient bass to add to any stock system or after market head unit driven system. Ok for moderately amped systems.
2) Integrated amp saves space and eases install.
3) Remote bass volume control is included, making it easy to adjust bass volume per song.
4) Sub doesn't take up much room yet delivers big bass sound of larger boxes or tubes.
5) I installed in mid size SUV and it booms well.
6) It sounds 90% as good as my JL Audio W7 with 600 watt mono amp at normal to moderate listening levels, yet costs 1/3 the price. At high volume levels it sounds 70% as tight as my JL W7, but it's rare I play it that loud, making this Punch sub/amp ideal for 90% of my listening.

This is a very good sub, it really hits for a small 10", i wished i payed the extra for the 12", very easy to install, i put the gain hakf way and xover all the way, left everything else alone, you do need to buy an amp wiring kit, i used 4gauge since thats the thickness it would take.

This sub really compliments the base system in my 16' mazda 3 sedan, sounds great! I bought this for it's compact and integrated design, price, and because of reviews. Cables all work and ties keep everything tidy. Plenty of extra length in a Mazda 3. My 5ch amp RMS power draw with volume all the way up should be under 360w (realistically under 250 when not trying to go deaf) so this should be more than sufficient.

Pros:
Cables all sufficiently long for my installation.
Everything included made the install quick and easy.
Only 8ga so the wires aren't super stiff allowing for easy routing.

Cons:
None so far.

Other:
Hopefully never need to test the fuse 60A rating.
