Great Sub

I have 2 of these in a ported box. Sound quality is very good if you can power them. They will handle considerably more power than stated in the specs. 100 - 200 RMS each. If you tune the box a little lower than the 40.5hz suggested by Rockford, you will be amazed how low a 10" woofer can drop! Not to mention the punchy bass as well. I have mine tuned to 38hz to make up for rise in cabin frequency & I am very impressed with them indeed. With the box tuned to 40.5 hz, they will drop as low as 32hz in the car so be sure to use an amp with subsonic filter @ 20hz if using in ported box. I wouldn't recomend them in a sealed box as output is considerably lower & not worth any gain in sound quality for sacrifice in output. Perform very well in ported enclosure @ 1 cu ft per woofer which IMO is not that large of a box. will get maximum output @ 1.4 Cu ft with some sacrifice of sound Q. Travel is a wopping 13mm, thats alot of cone movement for a 10" driver! I have them in a large car with a propaine gas tank in the trunk(Propaine powered car) & I still get a decent back massage. Still required lots of dynamat to combat the rattles.

Excellent Sub

I have this sub in an obcon 755-10 double aero port box on a 07 Punch P400-2 and it is mad sick. I have rockford power series for my highs on an 06 t3002 power series and they sound sick together. Also getting it for this price from sonic is the only way to go, I look forward to ordering more things from here.

Excellent Sub

This subwoofer has great sound reproduction, I have it installed in a down firing pyramid box in a Jeep Wrangler, with an Power Acoustic BAMF2000 (also purchased from sonic) powering them. If rock music is your thing these subs will do you right. They also do well with hip hop but you wont get the real deep low end that you get with 12" subs, but they will still rattle the car sitting next to you.

Great little sub

This is one of the best sounding 10inch subs I have heard. This is my first Rockford sub and I am very impressed. I have it hooked up to a 1200watts audiobahn amp in the wifes car(I plan on getting a second one to max out the amp) So I am pushing 600watts into it @ 2ohms. I have it in the recommended ported box and it will easily out bass the audiobahn 1208 flame Q sub I have(doesn't come close to the audiobahn immoral though). Its also cleaner sounding than the flame Q too. I would highly recommend this sub if your looking for a little extra boom in your music that's super clean sounding at a good price

Tight-loud-worth it

Honestly the best sub I have ever owned so far its got great sq and with the RT amp great SPL I had two in a 3.7cu foot vented enclosure and are beasts I ran a Rockford 801s to them its 2400 watts or bout 1000RMS but overall a great sub just watch out the wrong box will bottom these out.

Checked all over online no lower price any where. This speaker hits hard . Currently have 4 of these with 2 t1500-1bdcp amps. Definitely will purchase more when i blow them. Only draw back is that this speaker mounts too deep for a small truck.

Great Value

i own one of these (10 inch) subs, the price is Very high compared to other brands/subs, but fosgate subs do have a good reputation. the sound quality was unlike most subs i've ever heard (in a good way) but for the "punch 3" class i was expecting more slam. 1 sub will not be enough for people that want slamming bass. Plan on buying 2 or more or just buy 12 inch subs instead, thats what i did later on and i wish i had done it instead of getting the 10's

Solid subwoofer. I'm powering a single 10" in my wife's 4Runner and it sounds great. Can handle heavy bass hip-hop or classic rock.

The 10" balances well between precision & boom.

Awsome speaker

I have 2 of these on a t1000-bd1-cp got mad one day and could not blow them!!!!!!!! these speakers require a lot of depth to mount in a box.
