I would recommend this product because it has lot's of power clarity and Sonic control included in one package

more than happy with this amplifier. It's rated at 2x 100wrms @ 4ohms, it birthed at 2x 149wrms @ 4ohms. Massive power from such a small amp. Bridged into 1 channel @ 4ohms its putting out 498 watts RMS!! amazing little thing

I bought this amp to power my Alpine Type R component speakers. This amp is so clean, easy to set up and never gets hot no mater how loud I turn up my music. Granted I'm not bridging this amp for a sub so I'm not even using it to its full potential but I am more than satisfied for what I bought. I have complete confidence that this amp will last me for years. Rockford fosgate really knows their stuff.
Excellent for powering a pair of high end speakers or maybe some entry level subs. I would recommend keeping it to 1 sub or 2 entry level subs. because bridged only makes up to about 500watts at 4 ohms. But it can handle any speakers and have perfect clarity!

I love this amp

I bought a Rockford Fosgate amp from Sonic Electronix it was the best customer service I have ever received from anywhere...the transaction went very smooth and they went above and beyond the call of duty and the amp arrived very quickly and i was very pleased with it.....it packs a punch and drives my subs very nicely I highly reccomend this amp if your looking for great clean deep bass this is the amp for you!!!!

wow!

this amp is wonderful! i have it installed in my boat running some kicker tower components and it does the job and then some. i really like rockford amps cause they are way under rated and you will know when you get the birth sheet what i mean.

I use this amp to power a single 10" RF power series sub in my 02' Altima and it hits really hard with plenty of power to spare. I turn up the music and can feel the bass in my face, chest, hair, etc. I would recommend this amp to anyone out there in need of some serious power for their subs!!!

Awesome amp!

I bought a boss amp and it crapped out after a couple months of use. Then i bought this amp and it bumps harder and lasts longer. I havent had any issues with it. Definitely worth the money.

I have this 400-2 running 4 JL WX 10's with an Absolute 3.5 farad capacitor in a Jeep XJ with a custom box. It is very loud!

Performs Well!

I paired this amp with a MTX Audio Thunderform DDQC10U and MTX tt6510-04 sub. The combo sound great in my Dodge Dakota pickup, very happy. This amp is a pretty small footprint, but provides plenty of power!

ROCKFORDS A BUNCH OF LIARS!!!!! but in a good way, 800w max, that interested me good enough, but the birth sheet showed 952w max. now that what i call an amp. Also while running it full bore it sounds clean, unlike my old sony 800w, which sounded good if the gain was no higher than 3/4. good work rockford!

Perfect Fit!!

I own an S2000 and was looking for a good quality amp to fit under my passenger seat. This amp was a perfect fit! I left a few extra inches of rca and power cables so i can pull the amp out from underneath the seat and make any necessary adjustments. I have previous experience with Rockford Fosgate and have never been disappointed. If you own an S2000 or any other car where space is a concern than this amp is the only way to go!

I love punch amps!!!

I have owned this amp for a year now. It was originally bridged running a 15” kicker comp and it hit hard. Now it is running all my components in my car at 2ohms, and they sound great. I have never had any problems with Rockford Fosgate, and I would recommend this amp to anyone that wants sound quality and power.

GREAT AMP!

This is a great little amp. I've been using it for a year and a half now to power my 12inch kenwood sub and its really loud for just one 12 in my Jeep Cherokee. I have never had a single problem with it and it works fantastic. I recommend it to anyone.

Sick

This thing fits almost anywhere. Its an addition to my other amp that runs my 2 Kicker subs (P-10002, hell of an amp) This one is to run my components. Sucks doesn't come with a remote tho.

Rockford also has the best customer support/service that I have ever used!!!!!!!

Very nice

Powers my MTX magnum 10's perfectly and bumps like hell. Much more clear and crisp than my old amp and it also runs pretty cool compared to my last one as well. Well worth the money, perfect for powering 2 10's

WOW Impressed

I recently used this amp to replace a JBL BP600.1 I had powering 2 12 inch RF P3s. I thought the JBL slammed but on a whim I decided to hook up this just to see and wow sounds just as powerful but more of a clean sound. 600 RMS from JBL doesn't sound better than 400 RMS from RF go figure. I love Fosgate and have been using there equipment for a decade. Can't wait to replace this with P1000-BD now!

Great value

im running a 12in kenwood at 4 ohms bridged and works great.
The birth sheet that came with mine said that it actually puts out 506 watts at 4 ohms rather than the advertised 400.
Overall a powerful amp with a small footprint.

the best amp for its price

I bought this amp a week ago and have it installed right away by an authorized ROCKFORD installer. This amp surely made a bang for my buck. This amp pumps out so much power considering its price and size. This amp is one heck of a stunner. The gain control was set to half but the power looks like its gain control was set to max. It has clean and deep bass power, I'll surely recommend this amp to anyone!Way to go ROCKFORD!

I find that the birth sheets that come with Fosgate amps are what everyone is really interested in but for some reason nobody wants to post their actual specs on these amps. Here is what this amp was posted at for me:

AWESOME

This is an awesome amp. I have it paired up with a Boston Acoustics G3 12 single 4 ohm, and it hits HARD and CLEAN. I did cheap out at first and got a Visonik amp, but when ever I saved up enough this thing was WELL worth it. They both claim to be 400 watts rms bridged, but the difference is night and day. It hit sooo much harder and it just over all sounds better. I can go twice as loud with no distortion. I highly would recomend this and any other Rockford amp to anyone. (And if u get one, look at the birthsheet for a nice little surprise, Rockfords one of the few company's who under rates their prooducts) oh and Sonic did an awesome job, cheap prices, on time delivery.

This amp packs a punch. It is small and fits anywhere you want it. Very underrated.
