Good product
It's exactly what you need for your car amp installation. I bought this kit with Kenwood KAC-1502S amp for 75 bucks. Good deal from Sonic Electronix.

Great kit for the cost
Very nice kit for $18.
Wire seems adequately thick. Good quality fuse (not AGU) and fuse holder. RCA's feel durable. Decent assortment of accessories. All together a solid budget kit IMO.

Don't know what the other guy is talking about.
This kit was awesome and included with my package that I bought. In comparison to others for the same price, there is simply not a comparison and the other review is just wrong on so many levels I felt compelled to write this.
The reality is there are a lot of real shoddy amp kits and wire as a whole being used in car audio in terms of cheap amp kits that have over-insulating wires and fake gauge ratings, huge amounts of aluminum, lousy RCA cables, fuse holders and other accessories. BUT and a BIG BUT, this kit excels in those areas where others fall flat on their face. I have bought a few inexpensive 8 gauge kits in my day and XScorpion, Raptor, Install Bay and others haven't even given me the 8 gauge of wire that I paid for, and in some cases gave me wire that heated up to a dangerous level due to the actual make up of the wire.
I also literally laughed when I see that the other reviewer was intending to use spade terminals to connect his amp power and ground wire... It is for the SPEAKER wire knucklehead :-). I am an installer and the smaller accessories work just fine when you use them correctly. Most amps will still work with them when used with the speaker wire. Of course one can be used for the remote wire connection to the amp and the other end with the butt connector being used to connect to the stereo. The funny thing is, if you do not need them, who cares? It is like ordering this kit for a compact car or single cab pickup. You will not use all of the power wire for these applications, so do you complain that the manufacturer gave you extra wire? That just made me laugh.
Now, onto the other accessories. The AFS fuse and holder that are included are so far superior to others in this price range and the amount of copper (albeit CCA) is much better than others in the price range. Lastly, the RCAs included are awesome for the price. I cannot find ANYTHING to complain about here for $21.99.
All in all, you will not get a better value for the money.

Good product for the price
Good wiring package, good quality fuse holder and wires, I would like more connectors on it and maybe some tube for the power wire, but overall is a good kit.

Good Purchase
I used this kit to install a 2 channel Boss amp. The quality of the pieces in this kit is five stars, but I'm giving it 4 because it is my belief that to do a clean install you need (4) 8 gauge terminals (one at the batt, one at the amp, one at ground, one at the amp), not just two. I had to spend an extra six bucks at Orchard for the extra terminals, but since the cost of the kit here at Sonic was only $20 at the time, it was still a good deal.

Good kit
Good kit for basic setups. Using it right now in my mothers system powering a simple 12. Could handle more if needed.
Pros: Handles power, Wires are HQ, More copper than rubber, Wires are good length, Fuse is HQ, Comes with lots of ties and rubbers.
Cons: None
I would recommend this kit to anyone who has a simple system. All around good kit.

Worked very well for the money, great value for my system! Only thing that kept me from giving this 5 stars across the board is the design of the fuse holder and how you have to change/connect the fuse, minimal complaint.

This wiring kit is very good quality. Although this was my first subwoofer install, I consider myself an expert when it come any kind of stereo hookup. This kit comes with everything you will need for a professional install. I installed a MTX self contained in the rear of my 1999 Explorer Sport. This kit made eazy.

Exactly what you need
Comes with everything you need, literally. Ring terminals are good quality, insulation is very good quality on the wires, fuse is good quality, currently connected 2x 600 watt Pioneer 6x9 speakers to a 450 watt amp (250RMS) with this wiring kit. Plenty of length to get from the battery to the back of my car. For 21$ this is a steal! Does its job, does it well. Highly recommend this, you won't beat this price for everything you get.

This amp wiring kit did the job. Fortunately there was just enough wire to make it from the trunk to the battery in our honda civic sedan. A larger vehicle may have been a problem. The kit came with almost everything I need to install a self powered subwoofer/ amp.

Not a bad 100 watt amp to start your system with some caveats.
For the price, this is a sweet amplifier. it has a small foot print. And actually, I like the screw down terminals. The name plate on the top is a little cheesy. If I can, I would just take the plastic name plate off the top of the amp. (I think it's plastic?) But the look and finish of the amp is really first rate. It seems to be built very well. I can't complain about its aesthetics. I have 2 of these amps and they are great for Music. They really do have great specs on them and make a great cheap monoblock amp that does great at full range since it is a class A/B amp.
Now here are some need to know info.
Boss rates this amp at 700RMS Well it does to that IF..
1. You have a 15.5V electrical system according to the Boss tech I spoke with. BTW, REALLY GREAT TECH SUPPORT PEOPLE who are honest.
2. You actually have a linear 2 ohm load that does not happen in the real world. Going lower then 1.7 the amps starts to heat up quick. It will drive a 1.3 ohm load for a very short period of time. But the output transistors don't seem to like to work that hard and heat up quick. One side gets REALLY hot. (right upper side of amp on the input side where the Bass control switch is hooked up. (3, 4 ohm sub-woofers in parallel.
3. During 2 ohm loads, this amp is fine in the horizontal position. It never gets hot to the touch in my set up playing dub step. Bass CD's that have nothing but very low content will make this amp warm to the touch, but nothing to bad in 50' weather. On hot days, You are going to need a fan or some air movement to keep it cold in the trunk of your car with 2 ohm loads. Mine is mounted on the seat back in a minivan. So no problems with heat so far.
To get the most out of this amp Get the Boss P126DVC and throw that in a very good ported box and you will be very happy with the amount of sound that you can get at such a low price. The specs say 96db on this woofer, take that as a ball park figure. Figure about 90 in the real world. I am sure Boss got this figure at its peak output efficiency. (Numbers sell after all)
You must give this AMP MIN 14.4 voltage. Don't even think about cheaping out on your installation of power. This is not an amp that does well if the power is not there. there is no real reserve capacity for this amps power supply. Take my advice, if you want to go cheap on amps, then you have to spend the money elsewhere.
I am able to get 14.4 stable on my amp with a 140 amp stock alternator by doing the big 3, and using large 1 gauge full copper wire for both ground and Positive leads and just a stock new battery in the car. Going to do a clamp test on the amps today, ( I have 2 of these in the back of the car. And I can tell you that these amps really like 2 ohms loads and sound best at that load under my system.
It does not have the "effortless Reserve" that better amps like the RF. or the Aura Amp that I have for testing. It just seems like it is missing the "Grunt" that better amps seem to have. However, with the 2 Quantum sub-woofers that I am using in a sealed box, they seem to put out plenty of volume on a 2 ohm load.
The report that these need the bass boost switch on is kind of true, but it makes it sound very stressed. It's best use is if you like to listen to music that just does not have much bass in the song that you are listening to.(Classical music) Otherwise, leave it off.
about 2 o'clock seems to be the best gain setting on the kn0ob for me. that way I can turn the remote switch to ten without audible distortion..
High level inputs worked great from the stock infinity sound system in my mini van when I installed it at first. I think it sounded more musical this way.
Bass control knob uses 6PC connectors. I was able to get a telephone splitter so I could just use one wire and knob for both amps in the back. You have to get one that has all 6 wires in them. Most only have 4.
This amp feels more like a real 100 watt amp. And guess what. It is.
After my clamp test, with settings on max and at the 2 o clock position for the gain with the bass control knob on max, I got the following readings on a sealed 1.25 cube sealed box with quantum sub-woofers rated at 250 RMS and at 4 ohms. I tested with voltage readings at the amps being about 14 volts under normal music, and under test tones and bass heavy music, I was seeing 13.8 and 13.5 with just one amp hooked up to a sub-woofer with the other amp being at idle with no load, and RCA input being disconnected.
Both the amps had time to warm up and were cool to the touch. and only moderately warm with ambient temps with the rear tailgate open were about 45' F. while taking the readings.
I used a cheap Harbor Freight Multimeter and Clap tester in the 20A range and measured both the positive and negative leads by the amp and next to the speaker. Wire gauge to the speaker was 12 gauge.
Clamp test results while car was idling.
The best I got was 4 amps with avg being about 3.58 Amps sustained, and 30 Volts AC with avg being about 27 at 13.8 avg System voltage. at 4 Ohms.
2 ohms under the same conditions were 7.59 Amps, and around 28 VAC being about my best sustainable numbers.
So if I did the math OK, This is a 108W amp at 4 ohms. And at 2 ohms the AT1500 does 211W running bother Sub-woofers in paralleled configuration.
This is far short of even the 300W prediction someone mentioned.
According to Boss tech I spoke with, the output of each amp is a little different. However, under my testing, both amps were only of by maybe 3 watts with both being carefully set the same as possible.
Also one of the amps seem to play music even without the Amp plugged in to the line in. I think it is defective as the other amp does not do this. After a power cycle, I think it went away for a bit. But all my wires are running up the same line so this may be why the cross talk goes in to the power and ground leads. To stress this, the other amp is dead silent. . I have a 120000 MFD cap on there to serve as a filter to clean up the DC, but somehow, the amp is playing music from the power, and grounds going to it. But still plays and tests great, so back to the store it goes for one that does not do this. This amp has been working for about 3 months now, and the other one is 2 days old. So time will tell if the other amp does the same thing after a while as well.
The Description here says to use 4 gauge wire. You could use 14 gauge power and ground wires (Extension cord type) and still not over stress the wire This amp pulls about ballpark 25 Amps at MAX load.
According to my math, a 15 amp fuse should do the job.
Problems I have faced so far has been the one amp getting a audio signal via the power wires, and playing it through to the speakers. Other then that, both amps seem to be working ok. The other amp does not do this.
If you really want my opinion about this amp and its best use. I would use it as a mono-block full range amp for each channel. 100 real watts to your front speaker set is more then enough headroom.
Also, I know it would invalidate the warranty, but I would remove that plastic boss logo from the top of the amp. The Titanium/ Gun Metal Gray finish is just beautiful to look at. The Large boss logo just ruins it.
As a bonus, it would aid in cooling to a very small degree.
As a side note, if you run multiple amps, you can control the gain from just one knob using a 6pc telephone adapter. My set up works just fine and is very musical at the 4 ohm load during normal balanced listening.
If you have your subs in a well insulated trunk, this amp just does not have the power to really provide you with what you need. Sonic has a great Stillwater Designs amp that puts out a real 500W RMS for around a Hundy. I would really recommend getting something something that puts out 500 RMS for sub-woofer use. Not that you want to shake the car, it just needs to have that headroom in a loud car environment and especially if you have your sub-woofers in the trunk. That way hot days won't be a problem.
Running a amplifier at it's limit is never a good idea in places with little in way of ventilation.
If you want to stay with the great 5 year warranty (on this amp anyways) get the biggest Boss amp in the series they sell, and remember, all these amps only put out 1/4 of what they say in an average installation and are very sensitive to voltage drop. A cap will not help that 8 gauge wire issue. On cheap amps like this, you need every single volt of power you can get to this amp otherwise, you are just wasting your money. If you are going to bother running wire, do it right and use a min of REAL AWG 4 gauge real copper for the run.

Cheap - And it is
The wire is fine, the RCA cables are fine, but the terminals they give you are worthless, not enough of the 8GA size for both ends of the wire, and there are a bunch of small ones that werent even needed.

Excellent product for the price
I'm not running a sub or crazy rms wattage. This kit is more than adequate for my set up. 60 watt rms fronts and 80 watt rms rear speakers. The amp is 75watt rms X4. I would definitely buy this kit again for any similar set up. Plenty of length for all wires except the ground. If you are mounting the amp to the back of your rear seat and it folds down, make sure the ground is connected as close as possible the seat. Other wise the wire will prevent the seat from going all the way down. Wasn't paying attention to this. Bent the ground terminal on the amp when I folded the seat down and it hung up on the ground wire.

Came free with Kenwood amp, works fine.
This wiring kit was included for free with my Kenwood KAC-1502S amp that I use bridged to drive my Pioneer TS-SWX251 sub. It is a decent kit. The speaker/power wires are copper-coated aluminum which is just so-so. But it does include everything I needed to wire up my amp (fuse kit, zip ties, wire terminals, etc) and it works totally fine and I doubt I'll ever have a problem with it. So while theorhetically the wires could be higher quality, practically speaking I doubt I could ever tell.

The length of all the wires was perfect for my VW gti to set up an amp. However they are a pain to cute and strip. The rubber coating is very stretchy. But they work great. Good enough
Overall, this is a decent enough kit for an amp install. Fairly run-of-the-mill kit - my main gripe is that some of the prong connectors are incorrectly sized (amp connection for ground and power wire), but all other connectors are good. Zip-ties are garbage, but that's pretty much expected as well.

Abused & Misused!!
I am straight abusing this amp! The ground is suppose to be no longer than 18 inches long...mines is 26 inches and it's a pretty horrible ground too. Every where I look, this amp is listed at not stable for 1ohm use, do not lower to 1ohm...PPSSSHHHH please! I have 2 4ohm 12s pulling at 600rms a piece, wired in parallel. Which pulls 1ohm from the amp and this amp sub combo is killing some bigger and pricer systems. Had it since July of 2012 with only one shut off due to overheating but came back on in 3 minutes...guess it was extremely hot that day in Texas.

Cheap, but misleading...
At the time, I purchased this amplifier on a tight budget. Getting this amount of watts out of such a cheap amp, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. The amplifier itself looks nice, however the knobs and switches are a little cheap. However, it is overrated. I hooked it up to my 12" VVME subwoofer to it and I feel like this amp is only pushing about 300 watts, if that. It works great and doesn't get too hot - just don't purchase this amplifier expecting it to run at 700 watts RMS. That simply will not happen. I recommend this product to a beginner who is looking to power a couple hundred watts, nothing more. Also, when tuning your subwoofer while using the power knob, make sure to turn the knob all the way to max volume before setting your gain. This knob is not to control gain, but rather to limit the amount of power you are providing for your sub.

good buy
This product is definitely not a competition product but a good value. This amp is good if you just wanted to ad some depth to your sound stage with a single sub. But yet again it goes with the price if you want a serious system you need a serious amp. This is a good product for a starter system and the bass knob didn't work when I got it but it was cheap enough I didn't care to much about that. The amp tuned out well enough it didnt matter anyway.

I bought this amp for a friend to power up 2 12" at 1ohm in a tahoe it does its job but i thought it would sound better for a MONO. Its also really small and tends to heat up fast. It might be because i had to use a Hi to low Converter because he still has the stock bose stereo.

It provides plenty of thump. As you may have seen in other reviews, the adjustable knob does not function so I went 4 on the features.

Still going strong! after 2 years of moderate to heavy use.
I am going to give this 200W RMS @ 2 ohm stable Boss RM1500 amplifier a 100% Thumbs up!
It’s kind of like the Harbor Freight of Amplifiers. You really get a lot of value with this amplifier, and it’s built with plenty of safety in mind to deal with almost any situation from user error (More on this later)
Still sounds good, still puts out close to the same power, and runs very well on a single woofer without a hick up.
Volume control knob (remote Bass Boost) still works great! The finish/Aesthetics on the amp still looks wonderful!
Perfect for your starter system or entry-level car audio or for VERY mild power, high efficiency single sub-woofer systems. (More on this later)
Works BEST with a single DVC woofer wired @ 2-ohm loads. Was a perfect power match for the Boss CX-15 subwoofer granted you provide extra cooling. (More on this later)
LONG TERM 2015 WRAP UP.
After 2+ years of use, the First amp is still in good working order when driving a single 12-inch woofer AND HAS ZERO ISSUES when driving a single driver ~ 2-ohm woofer load.
After about 3 months of driving 2 boss audio CX-15 inch subwoofers, the output transistors are starting to give out. Most people will be running ported enclosures with this amp, so you may never see this problem but I thought I would bring it up.
This amp will do a 1.5-ohm load for VERY BRIEF stints. (At first) My sub box seems to have an impedance dip that draws more current then the amp is comfortable with at full tilt. Even at lower volumes, the amp does get very hot these days driving these 2 large woofers.
“Overheat shutdown LED indicator” (I.E. The Warranty Blaster!) Illuminates when driving both 15 inch sub-woofers after about 15-20 min at 60-70'F ambient temps.
1. Electronics giving up the ghost.
2. Thermal paste not doing its job anymore.
3. Extended time at bellow 12.5V operation caused significant stress to the DC to DC convertor… Yea that one.
So take my advice, Keep it running at 14V and you will never have any issues with this amp. But it’s nice to know that this amp has some great protection circuitry built in. However, you can see it took its toll on the amp for running at its limits. But hey, it still works!
I started to get this when running the amp on battery power only for some time. This means that internal circuitry had to work harder to make power from 12.5v instead of 14.4, so that could be the reason why it’s no longer performing like it use to.
So. Lesson to the wise.
1. Only use this amp when the car is running for maximum competent life.
2. Keep it very cool if you want some life out of it. Forced air-cooling is Mandatory for long-term high output operation at rated 211W output at 2 ohm operation.
3. Best to use with single 12" woofer of 2 ohms would be best. Or speakers that happen to be VERY sensitive ( 92 or higher would be a best bet with this kind of Amp)
4. Stay out of the sub 2 ohm area that is caused by box impedance drop (most of you will be using Ported boxes tuned at frequencies that it only rises impendence instead of dropping, so most of you will not have to worry about this last one.
I also had to reset my gain as well. it started to clip more so it seems that the output or DC to DC converter in this amp is starting to degrade after 2 years of use. I suspect the Capacitors are starting to go south so using this at its rated power is like running your engine on redline all the time and it's already due for a rebuild.
When the amp fails, I would not hesitate to buy another. And its been a very solid product. Minus One failed amp I bought. So as long as you get a good one, you’re in the money.
This is the kind of amp you test right out of the box. Do not wait till the return policy comes by. Like I said I had one that has some kind of crosstalk issue out of the box.
One thing I can’t stress enough, this amp is not happy with crappy power. If you have a good stock electrical system, this amp is more than any can ask for with stock electrical system. Truth is that most stock car electrical systems only have about 20 amps sitting around in reserve from the alternator.
Even with all my Electrical system upgrades, Deep cycle battery in the back, Big three, and dedicated overkill for a 200W amplifier, I still could not maintain 13.5V when at idle when the bass hit, so n alternator upgrade should be mandatory for anyone looking to run a subwoofer.
The Power draw from this amp is about ~25 Amps at 13.5v and Max 30Amps at 12v Full tilt. About average for a Class A/B amp.
With amps of this price class, having stable Voltage is more important than adding an extra battery (current supply) since they function best at high voltage then high current. I actually got 3 more watts form this amp by disconnecting the rear deep cycle (Fully charged) and running the wires straight to the amp. The amplifier also seemed to run cooler, but I did not have my thermal gun in hand to verify this.
Overall, it has been so far a pleasing ownership and testing experience. And it’s a great gateway amp to get you on your way to figure out the weak points in your system. I had a lot of fun testing this amp to see what it could do and the low entry price point makes it easy for anyone to get into car audio at a price point they can afford.
A big thanks to Boss Audio & a BIG BIG BIG thanks to Sonic!

It might be overrated
I hooked up 2 12-Hifonics HFX12D4 combimed rms up to 800 so as soon as I try turning it up they turn off the amp completely but other then that its good the amp can tell what it's able to handle

Well Built, As Advertised
This kit was included with a MTX package that I ordered. It was as described and is a well made wiring kit. Installation was quite easy and delivers adequate power to my system with proper grounding.
My only complain, I drive a 1997 Buick Park Avenue, and the 17' of cable for the power line wasn't nearly long enough for my installation. As my amplifier is currently mounted in my trunk due to limited options for locating it elsewhere, I had to go to a local electronics store and purchase another length of 8ga wire, an in line fuse block to splice the connection, as well as an additional fuse to ensure the line is properly protected.
For those of you will small cars, or who chose to mount the amplifier somewhere in the cab of the vehicle, this will be more than adequate. For those with larger cars, or luxury vehicles who are mounting their amplifier on the box or in their trunk, be advised you will need more power cable.

Good value.
The Boss 1500 is worth every penny. I downgraded from a 2500 after blowing my second JBL 10, and this POUNDS my single JBL 10 to its limits at 1/3 gain. Make sure you know a thing or two about LPF's before trashing monoblock amps, because for $80 this is the best purchase you can make.
Pros -
- Runs without distortion / clipping in 100 degrees (Summertime in Texas, ugh.)
- Enough RMS output at 4 ohms for ANY single sub
- Runs about 950 RMS @ 2 ohm load

BOSS AR1500M
I would definitely recommend this amplifier to a friend. This is the second amp I have from boss I put this amp in my wife's 91 Celica we are restoring and it fits neatly under the drivers seat. I took the amp down to two ohms and it's slumpin two pioneer subs real nicely... The bass volume knob works great also because we have different styles of music.
Great amp for the money!

Great punch for a little amp
This has to be one of the best amps for the price. If you bridge it right you'll get some hard hitting sound. It's well worth it.

Best Deal
I'm very happy, I got a 10 inch jl audio w7 running off of it and it's handling it with no problems, I've bought 3 amps and they all had problems pushing my sub, this is the first one that had had no issues you can't beat this quality for this price

nice starter amp
Was looking for a cheap setup for my son. He's not into trying to rattle every thing in sight, just wanted to upgrade from factory and use his ipod. This was one of the cheapest sub amps and it had some good reviews so I went with it along with a infinity reference 12 inch sub in a 1cb inch seald box. I'm 40 years old so I came up in the 90's when a system like this would have been very expensive. I hooked up his system and man this little cheap amp puts out plenty of power, and its quality power at that. I don't no if you would enter a sound competition, but if you just want a cheap way to get some bass, get this little cheap amp.

Came with bundle rated too high for these cables
I bought a bundle that included these cables (1kw) along with an amp (1.5kw) and 2 subs (1.3kw). Didn't make sense to include these cables, since their recommended throughput is much lower than the other components, so I never used them. They look nice, though.

Bang for the Buck
This amp was used for two kicker comp 12. Very surprising how well it pushed, even more surprising no heating problems. This was in a Chevy extended cab truck down firebox and produced very good overall tone and depth in the sub. I wouldn't recommend using any larger speakers. For this wattage it was ideal. Sonic Electronix does it again

Good deal for the price!
Kit has what it says. Most of the wires are of good quality, but the remote wire could have been a tad thicker. It broke every time I tried to attach it to anything. I ended up using some leftover speaker wire to complete the job. Overall though, you can't beat the value.

Nice amp
For the price, this amp is really good. I am running one 10inch pioneer champion series sub off it an never had a problem. It should be able to power two 12" subs but ive heard that the 1500 watt specifications may be a bit inaccurate. For just one sub though, it works perfectly. It looks pretty damn cool too.

Great Price
This amp kit works as needed, it has everything needed for a basic amp install, I would recommend it for anyone needing a lower priced kit. Just make sure you get the correct gauge wire kit for your install.

2nd Kit I have Purchased, Still Can't Find a Better Deal
I had a 500 Watt amp and sub installed in my old car, and sold it with most of the wiring in it for the new owner.
I installed a new 500 watt amp in my new car with a new sub, and bought this same wiring kit as I still could not find a better deal anywhere else.
It's a simple kit, has everything you need, and makes installation of an amp/sub a breeze. Tonnes of wire length, I still have lots leftover thanks to a trunk-mounted battery. My previous car had a battery in the hood, and this kit still have plenty of length.
The RCA's are very nice, and all insulation is great quality especially for the power/ground. Ring terminals are easy to crimp, and were the perfect size for my battery terminals/main grounding junction.

Very Nice Kit
Sonic recommended this kit online to use when I bought a Kenwood Amp. At the time this kit was on sale at 50% off. Glad they did. It would have cost me much more to buy the wire and connectors and fuse separately. It came with plenty of everything to hook up my Amp.
Thanks Sonic!

Garbage
I bought this amp and a JBL GTO 10 in sub the sub was good when I hooked it to a different amp but when it was powered by this amp it barely moved and sounded like crap I would not recommend this amp to anybody for anything it is rated at 700 RMS the sub was 350 RMS it should have been able to power it with no problem

Nice little amp so far
I just bought this amp for a budget build. I'm used to very high end audio equipment. This amp powers my 2 kicker CVR's better than the Kicker zx400.1 that went kaput on me. Everyone dogs on lesser brands, but I'm loving this amp. Definitely recommend.

Amp kit
I have bought different amp kits from other brands and wasn't satisfied with there products because of certain things.1 was price and 2 was the power amp wire where the fuse goes. The plastic part where the amp goes was crap and fell apart over time. I like the sonics amp kit because of both awesome quality wire amp the red power amp wire was awesome quality as well. I would recommend this product to anyone who buys this!

Walmart Quality.. It works for what it needs to do but quality seems about what you would get at walmart.

You get what you pay for
Well the price says it all, the wattage is way off, its really only pushing about 190 true watts rather than the 1500 it says, my two 10 inch mtx 5500 are only 300 watts a peice and they shut this amp down, it heated up after like three minutes, overall i guess it could push one speaker solid no more than about 350 watts thats as honest as i can get, but for only 50 some bucks i guess its a great starter amplifier

This kit is much nicer than most in its price range. Even though the wire is CCA, it looks to be full 8 gauge. The fuse holder and RCAs look to be of decent quality, and the separate remote wire and extra speaker wire are nice.

Great amp, I used it for 3 years until I sold my car with it since I was moving. I had it hooked up to a 10 in subwoofer which gave out some nice heavy bass. I was living in a hot climate when I had it and it had no issues with the heat. Would recommend.

Ok. Not great
I bought this to power a 400 watt rms subwoofer. It powered it but it didn't pound like it did with my 400 watt clarion. Cheap construction. One of the plastic mounting tabs broke when I was installing.

Overheats and bass knob has never worked
After about 1 hour of continuous run time, the amp overheats and distorts.
I would not recommend this amp to anyone even after getting a replacement bass knob it still does not work. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for a better amp

I don't have the tools to bench test this amp, but I can say that it definitely drives my 12" sealed sub nicely. No issues so far.

It's okay for the price
This is a good amp for a beginner. It has power but lacks the adjustments available on higher priced amps. Hard to tune to your sub properly. And 1500 watts max is an overstatement. Lacks the power to effectively push my one sub.

Specs no where near advertised
This amp does not come any where near 4 ohms: 563 watts x 1 chan. nor the 2 ohms: 1500 watts x 1 chan. as advertised. If something is advertised to do this or that and does not come any where close to living up to that potential, thats called a scam. The specs are a misrepresentation of that product and in my opinion false advertisement of what the Boss AR1500M really is. Just saying.

Great little amplifier. I've been running this amp on 2 12" subs for about 3 years. Having been a car stereo enthusiast for over 40 years, I've been very pleased with this amp. Never a hiccup and the bass control allows me to tailor the sub response.

It's a cable. It works.
Cables all work and ties keep everything tidy. Plenty of extra length in a Mazda 3. My 5ch amp RMS power draw with volume all the way up should be under 360w (realistically under 250 when not trying to go deaf) so this should be more than sufficient.
Pros:
Cables all sufficiently long for my installation.
Everything included made the install quick and easy.
Only 8ga so the wires aren't super stiff allowing for easy routing.
Cons:
None so far.
Other:
Hopefully never need to test the fuse 60A rating.

I was going to get a different amp install kit but this one was 50% off with my purchase so I decided to try it out. The kit comes supplied with everything needed to install most amplifiers. The lengths were sufficient for my install and everything looks to be of great quality. Shipping was extremely quick and well packaged.
Awesome
It makes installation a breeze. It leaves a clean install.
