Good Buy

I put them in the rear door of my F-150 super crew with no amp on them, just power by aftermarket deck 40x4 sound as good as the front doors with Pioneers 6x8 with an amp on them makes me want to put Rockford Fosgate in the front!!!

I bought these speakers (4) to replace the factory speakers in my 05 Ford F150 Crew, I appreciate good music and these accompanied my system with a sub and amp set up quite well!! I would recommend these to anyone who would like a great sounding replacement speaker!

Terrific...Absolutely wonderful!

I installed these in my Ford Explorer. I run with with an MTX 4-channel amp. They are loud and sound amazing! I turned off the subwoofer, turned up the bass, and these boom surprisingly loud! Very much acceptable in case you don't have room for a sub.

Very Impressive!

Just got these today and hooked em up im very impressed by the hi's, mid's, and low's. they are loud as heck! I think they cud b compared to the punch series speakers. Rockford has done it again.

Great for the money!

I honestly think a better performing speaker cannot be found at this price point. I am using these in the front doors of my 1998 Explorer and they deliver quality mids and highs. These speakers are VERY loud and I am only powering them with a 20W RMS head unit. This is my 4th system and I have always used MB Quart in my doors. These speakers are much louder than the Quarts while running on the same amount of power, though the sound is slightly better with the Quarts. Keep in mind these are not speakers that produce a tremendous amount of low bass but they are a terrific compliment to a sub.

Great Speakers

I was not impressed with these at first until i adjusted my input levels on my kenwood amplifier and now they great. They put out a very clean midrange sound comparable to what you would expect from a 120$ pair.

I just got this in today and let me tell you they look great Im putting them in My 2007 f150 and its sounds great I have my doors Rock ford and my Sub rockford p312's with my T1000 amp pushing the 12's I'm going to order and prime amp for my highs shortly Im a asbsolute RF fan for life!!!.

The speakers came fast and sounded great! I recommend whatever speakers you buy, get the wire kit for your specific vehicle. Otherwise your splicing them out like I did.

Pretty Good

I installed these on my 03 Mustang because when I bought the car the previous owner had some awful speakers currently in the car (worst then stock even). I wasn't looking for anything crazy, just something that sounded decent, and that is pretty much what I got. Overall, I am pretty pleased with the speakers, however I would probably not buy them again. Unless you are just looking for something "decent" to just get by with, I would probably recommend something else more powerful. I was just getting a bunch of other stuff at the same time for my car and I figured these would be fine for now (I rather spend money on an engine than on the audio). On a positive note, the mids and highs on these speakers are pretty good and the speakers themselves get pretty loud. However, I was disappointed in the lack of bass. It is virtually not there. So unless you already have a sub to make up for the lack of bass then i would probably advise getting a more powerful speaker. I just bout a Kicker PT10 bass station so now I am happier with my system overall. On a side note, these were installed in my doors and on my rear deck; I did not amp these speakers; and they were paired with a Clarion Double-Din that I also bought from this site. If I replaced anything in the future, it would probably just be the deck speakers as I feel the doors are ok the way they are, however the deck should have a bit more bass.

Great speakers for the price

I have these in my rear fill and there was a huge improvement from stock. They are powered by my headunit but still sound amazing. For the price these are hard to beat.

these speakers are overall worth the money...i have a 52x4 watt head unit and once it gets up to about 35 out of 50 they do start to distort a little bit but they are VERY loud and i have loved loud music all my life and its enough to suit me..i put bass blockers on them since i have subs and i couldnt be happier with these speakers especialy for the money i paid...i would deffiantly reccomend these

Very good speakers

These are some very good speakers for replacing your factory speakers. Def worth the money. Im running these with just my factory head unit. Which are putting out about 20 rms to each one, and they are loud and crisp for running them that low of power. Plus the free shipping and low prices on Sonic. Im for sure recommending this website and shopping here again, again, and again lol

i own it for six months now and its a very good car amp. never had a problem yet not like previous amp after few days it broke. so i stick to this brand.

Quality sound

I bought these at a local audio store to hook up to my stock head unit. They sound great doesnt pick up the lows well but when I used them with a 10" 600w sub my system sounded full and was quite loud I would recomend these.

Rockford Fosgate R1682 For Ford Focus ZX3

I got these speakers because my other order got back ordered and they recommended theses. Sure they where more expensive than the other ones but its worth it. I got them for my 2001 Ford Focus ZX3 hatchback, if you put them in the back you might not notice much of a difference when using the radio but if you use an iPod or CD you can notice them.

good sound for a good price!

i was looking to upgrade my stock speekers in my mustang and went to a shop whare thay whanted $160.00 for the same speekers i got from this site for $50.00 they got to my houes in 5 days and i live in Alaska. now the problem is i need a amp. becuse the speekers are so good my deck dose not have the power to push them. if youre looking for some mids get some like my ROCKFORDS ;)

Best bargain

These are great sounding speakers.. Especially for their price. They have rock solid bass and crisp clear highs. I like the overall sound of these better than the Pioneers I used to have. If you're on a budget and want great sounding speakers, these give you the biggest bang for your bucks.

Tough as Nails

Absolutely amazing for the price. I have owned 2 pairs of these for my F-150 for a year and a month now. I have absolutely beat the crap out of them for the entire time that i've had them on a stock, distorting radio and finally wised up and got a Sony GT-57 and put it in. And boy those things were way happier with the subs and the high pass filter. But I will say this, they have been wet MULTIPLE times, and they still work just like a pulled them out of the box. Hope the Punches are as tough as these, about to replace them. AMAZINZG sound quality and durability for the price.

Great Sound

I am very happy with the fit and sound of these prime series speakers. Provide a crisp sound and surprisingly a good amount of bass. I am very pleased with the quality. Came with speaker connections and wire also mounting screws and clips. I do wish they would have included some speaker grills but overall could not beat the price.

They're alright, really good for the price...

I bought a pair of these to replace the front OEM in my Towncar & they sounded great for about a week or so. After that they started sounding distorted at low volume. I sent them back for the same speakers & this time I'm going to wire in a bass blocker before the speaker. They do sound really good aside from the low volume distortion, so I'm sure removing most of the bass will help maintain them.

I installed them and they were ok. The bass sucked and the highs got distorted quickly off of head unit. So far the Stock speakers handle better, im buying an Amp to see if it will help with the bass and distortion.

Quality Full Range Sound!

These speakers sound great!!! Very good sound quality with a neutral clean sound, no distortion at all even at very high volumes. Tight bass and good mid-bass and pleasant to the ears overall. They are in my front doors of my taurus and they compliment my rear drivers very well which are 3-way Rockford P1683s (great 3-way speakers with a deep rich sound that absolutely rock..also with no distortion at all...and these get loud!!!). I am using the stock stereo with a 4-way 60 Watt/Ch. amp and a 10" rockford sub & my system sounds awsome...Very Happy with these as well as the P1683s! Best speakers I've owned and a great value also. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Best speakers

I experienced a professional Rockford system in my friends Hilux. They're great. I just upgraded my AU falcon's speakers and having these Rockford speakers in my car is absolute pleasure.
